Title: Legs
Post by: lemon_ice on August 30, 2014, 11:41:21 PM
So I'm pretty happy with my upper body, I'm pretty sure with a good diet and HRT it could turn out pretty well, but I'm not so happy with my legs... I've inherited my mum's body type which a smaller upper body but with rather solid legs, with a weird fat deposit above the knee cap.. (weird I know). I also did a lot of cycle commuting over the last 3 years pre HRT and my legs had gotten quite muscular which doesn't help. Now with HRT and no cycling they are getting less muscular but they kind of look weird and rather non feminine. They are long, which is a bonus, but they don't look good, so I'm wondering what exercise you smart and amazing people out there may have had some success with..
What I want to do is reduce their bulk and encourage my long female type muscles to form as well as a allow a little subcutaneous fat to be deposited, to hopefully achieve that nice smooth, feminine conical type shape.. I've just started jogging in the hope that it will help, but I'm not too sure, I want to avoid bulking them up any more than they are now and ideally reduce bulk. So any advice would be awesome!! : )

Thanks Grace :) I'll give that a go, might have to end up firing my sedan chair team if I start walking everywhere though... ;)

Running and kickboxing as well as doing some squats and leg work, you will have legs to kill for!   :)

Thanks! :) They don't get bulked up doing squats etc though? That's my main concern with some exercises..

Squats will help you get stronger and tone legs, as long as you don't do heavy weights with your legs you will not get bulked up. If you are in HRT your T will be in the low side and new muscles will be long and tone, towards the feminine side.

All I do is walk a few miles every day, that and super low T did the job for me :)

WoW Kaylee, your legs are amazing!
I probably get about 12 km a week (~7 miles), but looking at your results I might have to amp up my walking.

How well did anti-androgens help, do you think?

Thanks hun :) x

I work 2-3 miles from home (depending on the route) and don't drive, so I'm always walking everywhere.  Not instant results but over a long period it has really helped :)

I used to do a lot of bar/night club work, years of being on my feet/carrying crates up and down stairs all day gave me kind beefy legs, low T really helped slim them down while walking kept them toned.
