Title: The MBTI Personality Test - Introverted Intuit edition!
Post by: Rachelicious on September 02, 2014, 03:37:54 PM

This poll is a follow-up to the "What is your MBTI personality type?" poll which shockingly revealed over 50% of Susans respondents to be IN (introverted intuition) personality types, which usually are less than 10% of everybody.
INFJ, INFP, INTJ, and INTP folks! Please indicate your identity and type above. As informal research, I'm interested if there will be any particular identity/mbti combination or combinations that stand out in any specific population.
You can take the personality test and review the different types here: http://www.mypersonality.info/test-personality/
If you are not INFJ, INFP, INTJ, or INTP, please choose the bottom poll option to see results <3 Cheers!

I retook the test for probably my 10th time and still very strongly INTJ. My J was by far the lowest at 68%

Grrr... I hate theses test where you answer 50+ questions only to be treated to "please login or create an account" right at the very end. :'(
INFP by history and doubt I've changed much.
[Edit] Haha just like that I retake and -poof- INTP-. I like this site, http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test for the testing and breakdown. It has a very easy to navigate and read format.

I polled in as INFJ Female, because that's what I identify as currently, though I'm still not totally sure I'm not non-binary.

One funny thing in MBTI is the tests often lead people to initially think it's about the four letters in a sense of polarity, when actually your type is formed not by binary ratios between letters but by the functional hierarchy in which those letters are elements of functions (ex. Introverted iNtuition, Extraverted Thinking) that are expressed in the same preferential order based on your type regardless of percentages. For example, the raw letters of an INFJ do not spell "extraverted feeling", but that is the INFJ's second most prevalent function.
Thus the only time percentages are relevant is if you're truly borderline with one or more letters, in which case if you review the potential types you'll likely find that one stands out as more 'you' than the other - for instance, an INFJ's functional hierarchy does not bear any resemblance to that of an INFP, likewise with INTJ / INTP. They are so very different in how their energy is expressed. When in doubt, pondering which of the functions (Extraverted Thinking, etc.) you identify with may be easier than trying to identify your type based on interpreting descriptions like "hard to impress, attracted to sad things," etc.
I see we already have a majority identifying as female. I'll not let myself rush to conclusions, let's just keep getting more IN-folk, well, in here :P

Male INFJ here.
I have gotten INFP once I think, but usually it is INFJ.

So bump a dead poll why don't you? Unless you're trying to be snarky, then you basically just failed. Hard. :P
I'd say something intelligible but I need more data.

I keep getting Female INFJ. It's weird though, because sometimes I can hit something completely different and extroverted. I never feel like myself when that happens.

Taken this test a few times always seems to be INTJ. Put non binary since not really on HRT or any true change. Suppose I could have put female too:)
Stratagist. (with feeling if that makes any sense)
Intro 89
Intuit 63
Think 63
Judge 68
I realize only basic test but seems to fit pretty well. Yet the career I happen to choose has nothing to do with it kind of or maybe it does Cooking btw. That may change he he maybe hit the other side put the skirt on and wait the tables:)

Current results:
Female: 17
Male: 4
Non-binary: 2
Notably, 10/17 of the females are INFP. Interesting density towards the female end of the gender spectrum - little ground to say much about the others right now, but I also know we don't have nearly everyone in here yet :-X

I took that test a year ago and got INTP. I ended up doing research on how we act and think, what kind of jobs we have, for the most part we are pretty awesome. :)
