First up - perhaps TMI... And 6 weeks post op with Dr Chettawut.
Healing and dilating have been going ok with occasional blood globs (ejected stitches?) on tissue. Some reddening of gel around urethral opening but nothing major... Until today.
I remember sleeping on my side - fetal like. And some dream of erectile tissue but all with clitoris (ie nice but not erection). Woke up and had a glob of blood on tissue - but then steady drips. It seems that one of the labia folds is oozing - and there appears to be a small trickle from the top of my clitoral hood. Some of the loose stitches have gone so I suspect that is the cause. But I'm more concerned about making sure everything is clean, that it stops bleeding and doesn't "heal over".
Unfortunatly my gyno had a lot of patients so my checkup is not for another two weeks. But I have no idea whether this should be treated urgently or is just normal post healing. Emails were sent to Dr. Chettawut but the clinic seems quiet this week.
And before anyone asks - no I don't play or spread down there. Or do anything strenuous. The swelling is only just going down and cleaning / moving the folds had always been with a medical swab.

That *sounds* like it could be normal, but I'm not as familiar with the technique so all I can say is that losing a stitch early led to similar results on me - slight oozing, rawness and redness and tenderness, and gradually healing over. I'd recommend VERY gently separating any tissue you're afraid will heal "fused" to something it's not supposed to, but otherwise using antibiotic ointment and leaving it alone.
(And I hope the surgeon gets back to you, as he's the expert!)

Thanks Jenna
I took some photos and got a reply from Dr Chettawut. Essentially such things can happen within the first 6 months - to be careful and if necessary apply some ice packs. But nothing can really be done.
I spent most of the morning relaxing in bed reading and minimizing moving around. This afternoon I found some loose sharpish stitches and knot protruding out of the cliteral hood and carefully removed them so as to not cause further irritation. The trickle stopped sometime in the morning. But just taking it easy for now. Keeping clean. I can feel easily - including the ache due to bleeding - so am fairly happy that all will be ok for now.
Madeline B also provided some useful hints that this can be expected. So it is generally just a case of not knowing and not having a medical team on call to ask. And also why I write here - so that others can find support if they ever need.
