Title: Starting Therapy
Post by: Jace on September 07, 2014, 04:57:38 PM
Man life is going great. I'm passing fairly well at college, making new friends, doing my homework, and generally am just enjoying life. For the past few weeks I had been trying to contact the transgender therapy place in Milwaukee with no reply so I just gave up. Instead I emailed the KC Transgender institute about skype therapy and they replied the same day and have been very quick with the rest of the emails. I now have an appointment set up for next week and I was even able to get the cost of a session down to $75 instead of $150.

On a side note it's very weird to be passing as a cis dude pre-t. People just think I'm a late-bloomer who hasn't hit puberty. I'm not super stealth, if someone asked if I was trans I would tell them, but I'm not open either. I like it. I like that I don't have to put up with questions or worry about people calling me my birth name. I hope things continue to go well.
