Title: Question

So, I saw my therapist yesterday and I said that I didn't want to rush into HRT. I could have gotten a letter right then, but I just couldn't do it. I think I may ask for it next week. She told me that from everything she could gather from me and from a first impression she felt I would pass. I still doubt that and am still on the fence about trying to transition. I do want to give HRT a shot for a few months at least though.
When you get a letter from a therapist, do they normally refer you to an endo and/or electrolysis technician? This is a therapist in Boston, and she has some ties to a few programs around the area and has written letters for HRT and surgery. I'm hoping that she'll basically direct me and tell me where and when to be. It was hard enough to even contact a therapist, let alone having to find my own endo and electro tech. I just don't want to have to be dialing around saying "hey, I'm trans and need your expertise." I'm just really hoping she has people in mind, people that are use to dealing with transpeople.
Thanks everyone

Oh sweetie, how many times do we have to tell you that you pass? I would not lie to you about it and let you get hurt. Please get this out of your mind or you will not pass because you will act nervous and actually DRAW attention to yourself. Just be you and go on about your business. As for the other personnel, you will have to make the calls yourself. My Therapist referred me to a fantastic Endo, but I had to contact, schedule and get out there living as me. You are going to have to face the fact that if you need to be female you are going to have to do it yourself. Give yourself more credit than you do now, please? You can so do this AND be very successful. :)
I am not pretty, gorgeous or young, but I am me and that is all that counts.

I total agree with Jessica on this.
Confidence is the key to being your true gender.
Live for yourself.
I know its hard making contacts so i hope she has a list of trans* supportive Endos and electrolysis.
I had my clearing done first by laser and not a word i gave of me being Trans*. They if professional will not ask.
