This year, 24 percent of the total must be African Americans; 10 percent gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender; 9 percent Hispanics; 8.5 percent disabled; 8 percent younger than 30; 3 percent veterans; 1 percent Asian/Pacific; and 0.3 percent Native Americans.
