Title: Got a question.

So I know HRT doesn't effect bones so that's not what I'm wondering, but I'm wondering if all of the other changes have made anyones fingers slimmer? Like going from a 10.5 ring size to 9 ring size.
I'm asking because there are so many rings I want to buy myself that are sooo beautiful, but are always at least a half size too small.

I really don't know kariann. I've been an 8.5 since high school and still an 8.5.

Bones are being constantly remodeled and repaired (osteocytes and osteoblasts), normally for repair and in relation to stresses through the skeletal system. There aren't really any remodeling stresses in the fingers though. Your best bet is to reduce body fat / water retention as that has a large effect on ring acceptance. (I have no idea of your body size and don't mean it offensively)
I have a my grandmothers wedding ring which fits on my right little finger - but nowhere else. And I had it adjusted up by one size. Bigger changes can be made but only if the ring supports it (ie a solid unmarked band can be extended)
It can also be good to investigate local artisan jewelers with photos of the ones you like. They might not be as expensive as you think - especially if you allow the ring to be used for advertisements etc. this is a lot easier than here in Switzerland.

Yes, actually, but I'd added a half-size when I gained weight and lost it again on HRT (so from a 9 to 9.5 ring size and then back to 9). It seems like the finger fat just reduced a bit. :)

My ring size went from a size 13 to a 10.5 and my weight didn't change a whole lot. Sometimes the 10.5 ring I'm wearing gets rather loose when it's cold. 10.5 isn't too bad considering I'm 6'7".

My fingers seem slimmer. I don't know if they really are.

Hi :-)
E doesn't effect bone but it does effect cartilage.. I lost just a little in my fingers; I was always an 8 but now I can get a 7 over that last knuckle.
