Title: Out of Spiro for the weekend
Post by: Jamienj923 on September 20, 2014, 01:37:26 AM
Hi everyone,

My name is Jamie a 24 y/o MTF and have been on hormones for about 5 months now. I am currently full time and a grad student. Now the good stuff..

So I come home from work and noticed I have 2 spiro pills left, no big deal I can just call in a refill (thinking I had the same amount of refills as my estrogen), wrongggg..... Refills require authorization and it is saturday and I am without any spiro... I am slightly panicking because I have never missed a dose and have to wait until monday when my doctor office is open. Is anything going to happen drastically from missing 2 days worth of spiro? I am so fearful of something masculine to come back or something.

I would get on top of it in the future, by using anti androgens when you go off your androgen receptors become sensitized to T and DHT.

I don't know how 2 days will do but I doubt anything drastic. Be careful in the future though.
