Really? A round pill? Round is not a shape designed to go down easily. It gets stuck 9 out of ten times, forcing me to guzzle water to get it down. **grumblemutter**

I took a generic micronized progesterone that is an oval gel cap, perhaps a search into different brands is in order?

I do the generic micronised for Prometrium. It's a perfectly round, little pink pill. Annoying!!
On the plus side the euphoria and lightheadedness seems to have stopped but it does still make me drowsy.

I put it under my tong with the estrogen tablets. There is the soft gel left over but I just chew it.

Lifetime of taking tablets here. When you're starting out place it as far back as you can use something fizzy to swallow, the bubbles are your friends. Mary Poppins was right, "A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down. "
Nowadays its five or six different tablets in my hand. All in the mouth at once small mouthful of water. "Now that's out of the way what's next"

I had the same problem at first but no more. Guess I just figured out how to do it so it doesn't get stuck. Became a pro! Practice makes perfect. ;D

Plus side? LOL. I love that effect, LOVE it! I still experience it and don't want it to ever stop, it's like being drunk.

Yes, exactly why I'm glad it's not happening. Drunken nursing is not a good thing. I like feeling good but I'm not willing to risk making a mistake with a patient because of a hormone high.

Methinks I spoke too soon about the euphoria and lightheadedness going away. Wheeee!! Thank FSM I've seen my last patient of the day.
