Hello world. Long time lurker of the forums...
I'm Samantha, I go by "Sam" or "Sammie". I'm a transwoman and still pretty much closeted from the rest of the world. Well, actually everyone knows but I still refuse to go outside of my house as a woman because I am not comfortable with my appearance. I have only had two sessions of laser hair removal and I simply cannot shave every day because my hair is too coarse and skin is too sensitive. Hopefully by next year it will be looking better and I will get out in the world more often.
I just starting taking hormones a few days ago and I feel the most major change is that I am comfortable with the fact that I don't look feminine yet. I'm starting to feel much more feminine and becoming comfortable with that feeling instead of constantly trying to reject it. Before hormones, I wouldn't feel very feminine so I made a lot of effort to look feminine, but not that I feel feminine, I don't care so much about trying to look that way. I know it's going to take time, and it's going to be way easier to live life in guy mode while I let the hormones do their thing.
How long were you on hormones before you went full-time? Or did you go full-time before beginning HRT? What is considered part-time? I've been out in public three times in the past 3 months. That's part-time right?

Hrt before full time is the norm.
Part time before full time is also how many move forward.
Part time is just spending a few hrs to a few days a week in your Gender role.
Take things a day at a time. Work on your confidence in your self.
