Title: TV show "the view" host "Star Jones" reference

I'm not sure if this counts completely as news but. I just caught her reference barely but she was talking to another host about breakups and scandals and out of her mouth the stated some I think football/sports figure maybe a star was dating a , and I quote "was dating some transexual utah judge/represenative" no name, or acknowledgement of her, just "some transexual" .
This makes me a little mad to be honest, "she" isn't some object "she" is a "woman" in respected career and "she" gets referred to as "some transexual" ??
As soon as I have a better attached Internet and a keyboard I intend to email them as I just view this as blatantly inappropriate and I feel she if not at least the shows owes an apology to not just her but the community as well.
Do you agree?

But honestly, I think its not too much to get upset about. Its not particularly bad and we do have to admit that we are different and many people will feel a need to announce that difference, especially that of a public figure. It doesn't mean she has anything against us. I just think that getting too upset about something as minor as this will continue the belief that we as a community are just a bunch of thin-skinned cry babies.

I understand your point Jaime, however I have a believe that while true is we were to jump every time there might certainly be that view but on the opposite of the blade one might inject the belief that if you let people tun constantly over it allows the impression it's ok to poke, make fun, or throw us under the so called bus. I tend to lead to the former. I still hold the belief that miss politician while knowing she might be put in the spotlight for her transexualism , she never intended it to be a standing of why or what she stood for and is trying to accomplish. Comments on YouTube from biased hating people should be ignored but public television that's another ordeal .
For me and several others I'm sure, I am a woman first and foremost and that is all I ever wanted to be perceived as. The fact that I was for with some issues that required corrected is nobodies business other than my parents, Dr (on occasion) a few select friends (if I so desire) and god. Anyone else who tries to pry will get a who the f are you? And be aappropriately responded to with an equal harsh question or response.
IMO we have hid our selves enough and we are at a point we are telling them it's ok to keep it up or not. Changes are happening more than they use to, we don't need to hide our offense. Any other woman would be threatening law action if not something more violent if another woman questioned her womanhood.
