That was a very good program, Melissa.  The 7 PM show was a bit different from the 10 PM one.  I just didn't understand one thing.  Bill/Erin was going to try to live as a woman for six months to see if it worked?  But he/she had already had FFS, what if it doesn't work?  He/She will have to live with a female face for the rest of his/her life then, correct?  :-\

I love Dr. Bowers; she seems to be a very compassionate person.  :)

I was puzzled by Bill's situation as well. Perhaps, he (it is he now) is not being forthright with his partner. This is where a good therapist or, lacking that, the support here is invaluable. I wonder who Bill's FFS surgeon was too.

Except for the additional footage about Samoan transpeople it's a re-edit of previous shows on gender/sexual identity. This one focuses on Loren Cameron, Nan Tong and someone at Dr. Bower's clinic. It seems the same bunch of people show up on the various health, NGS, etc. channel shows on transpeople. While they're all excellent spokespeople for transpeople, it would be nice to see a greater diversity who are leading everyday lives. But then most of them are off leading normal, everyday lives and don't particularly like a tv camera in their life. Totally understandable.

I saw most of this, last night I was flipping channels thinking...I wonder if they ever put on any informational tv shows about transexuals or hrt/srs...and then I came across that show and it was kinda creepy, because I was thinking about it not 20 seconds before...Pretty good show though.
