Title: Hello!
Post by: Ozzter on October 08, 2014, 01:19:30 AM
Hello there, I'm Ozzter. First off, I am a very shy person, and to be honest posting something like this is rather hard for me. Apologies in advance if something sounds awkward!

A little bit about how I've come to find and join up here, for the past year or two I've had some very strong feelings about wanting to become a female, even though right now I am male. It has gotten to the point where it is causing me to feel rather depressed about my physical body, and that I don't look how I wish I did. After a very nerve-racking experience of managing to tell someone about my condition, they recommended that I should join up with a group of similar people to ask and learn about how the transitions have worked out for them. So, here I am! I like to ask questions, but I sometimes have a hard time getting to the point when it comes to questions and answers. Some other things about me, I'm very into gaming, in fact I use it as my main outlet of expressing myself as a woman, I'm still in school, I enjoy programming, and I can be fairly sensitive about things, though I can take criticisms.

I'm happy to be able to talk about this openly, and I look forward too meeting everyone! :)

What she said! :)

Gaming can be a wonderful outlet for some of the minor or early feelings of dysphoria and hopefully we can help and guide you through getting the information and support you need hun.

In one respect it sounds like you have been lucky, you have some idea that something is wrong while you are still young, your options and your chances for getting good results from hormones etc. are better if you are young.

I have a steam account if you fancy some coop play sometime! :)

Welcome!

Alice

Thank you! I was really nervous about even posting, and all your responses have made me feel like it was definitely worth doing in the end.
