Hii
So I bought wax and bands and started waxing. Oh god, it is painful. But it's sooo perfect. The skin gets so smooth. My only problem is that I take soooo long, I still have managed to wax 3/4 of one of my legs today, tomorrow will do the rest. How do you manage? Because I honestly just my legs perfect and I'm seeing it will take long lol. Ugh hairs, I want them goneeee.

Managing the pain is rather simple for me, in that I enjoy it. It just feels good to me. The inner thighs are a bit stingier, but still pleasant. You want to feel pain though? Try waxing your face. I once tried it and it hurts so bad that I was only able to manage struggling through the hairs on my neck before I said "that's enough. I can't take this anymore." I think waxing is like anything else initially unpleasant that has a positive outcome, like anxiety from injecting drugs or muscle pain after exercising. You'll just get used to it and come to develop a positive association between the stinging pain and your silky smooth skin. Over enough time, it will hurt less and less without necessarily even noticing.

I just get it done in a salon. Thorough and quick and very smooth. One hour for neck to toe. These days I don't have much to get rid of but I prefer it that way despite the cost.

It actually that doesn't hurt too much waxing my legs. It just takes looong. I need to practicepractice. It's more like when the wax gets all stuck in my legs because it's too cold. Ugh. I need to be always heating it up. But it's okay, I'll manage. Tomorrow I will do all or my name isn't Aurora, it really isn't, lol.

I tried waxing my arms with some cockamamie microwave bull->-bleeped-<-. After slightly burning myself, I bought an epilator the following week. ;D

I prefer the salon. All over hair removal takes about an hour. Yes it's costly, but so much easier and no mess to clean up at home. As for the pain, I think it's fine, there's the odd place its a little sensitive but you get use to it. I'm hoping body hair will subside a lot over time, already has, but still need to wax at this stage.

The only place I have waxed is my eyebrows and I too go to the salon to have it done otherwise I have what hasn't been killed off by laser so far. I don't have time at home and with 3 pets to get in to things I'm not sure it would be great idea for me to wax at home anyway.
