So... Idk. This one just seems dumb. I mean, they're seven. They don't even know why boys and girls are different yet, aside from the way they dress and hair length. Besides, the superintendent is supportive, none of the other kids have complained. Why do people have to make it a problem?
And I absolutely LOVE the fact that the woman in the story, Caynah Lindsay, outright admitted to the reporter that she told her child to bully Ella. "I've told my son to be nice when he sees this boy. I've told him to never refer to him a girl because that's not what he is." Hope the school has to bring her in someday to pick up her kid for that one.
I suppose with all of this movement in schools around the country, there will soon be Democratic schools and Republican schools....

The comments and the parents are pissing me off so much. Like I am really angry with people about being so ignorant! It's not that they change in one day it's that they make the effort to speak to parents etc to get everything ready. I bet this kid and her mom were buying clothes and buying new backpacks and all that to prepare for this and they picked a day that suited everyone in the household. some people might see it as a one day they're a both, the next they're a girl, but that's not how it is at all. That really grinds my gears. ESPECIALLY how the one mom told her child to keep calling Ella a boy. Smfh.

When ever I see a news story deliberately disburse ignorance to its readers I fear for the future of my country.
