Title: 18 months on HRT
Post by: warlockmaker on October 13, 2014, 01:53:36 AM
Here I am finally at another milestone on my journey. It's been over 18 months since I started HRT and 4 years since I started therapy, and it's been a journey of wonders and for me happiness and peace. I believe that 18 months on HRT is a special time, before I started this journey it was my planned landmark time to begin my life as a female. However, financial issues but NOT the short of cash issues -rather how to consolidate a great deal of money has delayed the process for a few months. I was concerned that certain family members would use my TG to have the courts evaluate me on my ability to administrate the Family Trust. This has caused some angst in me but I am ever so content that I feel I can wait until the matter is settled. I am thus still in the closet as a result.

My changes after 18 months, and wow, there have been so many, yet it seems to be constantly evolving. I have always believed that you need to take your time and with a great therapist the journey has been stable and wonderful.

Finally, I would not be so much at peace if I had not had the support of my SO, my therapist, my few friends that know and those wonderful members in this forum that have helped me see the transition thru other eyes. My most heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you and I wish your journeys to be as wonderful.

Good for you. I kind of know how you feel. I've been involved with a lawsuit against some family members trying to steal from me. So I had to "hide" some while dealing with my attorney & the courts. Mine has almost settled so that will be a happy day. Good luck on settling your legal estate issues.

Thanks Francis, I'm a very positive person and I do believe that we are inately good people, but some good people rationalize their actions which are plainly nasty. I've had to battle one of my sisters legally and its a hollow victory and one that actually makes me sad. Money makes people act badly, a lot of money makes people act very badly. I wish I could keep to my schedule, I'm in my fifties and at time feel the constraints of time.

I understand. I've always been feminine, nicer & much less aggressive that most any males. I have an older 1/2 brother that knows that & has always tried to push me around since I was a child. The courts are slow however my attorneys did a good job to settle things fairly. Good luck GF. My deal is quite a lot of money/assets.
