Title: Halloween 2014
Post by: Jessika on October 22, 2014, 03:47:17 PM
Hi everyone,

It's that time of year again and Halloween is getting close.

I wanted to post this thread to see (Well not see yet) or get idea what you all will be wearing for Halloween if at all?

I know the pics will not be available until AFTER Halloween (Unless of course you have your Scary/Funny/Sexy/Funky outfits already).

Myself...Depending on the weather a cute Beer Girl: (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimagizer.imageshack.us%2Fv2%2Fxq90%2F673%2F1YcBas.jpg&hash=4e1dffe329d9c2615f53e0290896138877a0b23f)
OR a more daring Pink Wet look (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimagizer.imageshack.us%2Fv2%2Fxq90%2F901%2F5hfyq4.jpg&hash=b2e485b22c054ac7c329fac3931db6fdcf558e46). The reason I like the pink, even thou it is a little risque but for Halloween? Why not? ;)

It reminds people of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is October.

What do you all think? I'm leaning towards the Beer Girl more.

Jess

Oh my GOD look at the back, like really you can see everything  :icon_eek:

Would you actually get out dressed like that or it's just for a party by yourself? D:

(I'm sorry I'm just too much of a Charlotte inside (SATC))

Well, It would be after hours(Kiddies will all be asleep) and only to a Nightclub where the lighting isn't too bright. ;)
And ONLY for Halloween. We can get away with it on Halloween.  >:-)

Edit: Butts aren't really considered sexually offensive in the way you may think. Ever see "Naked and Afraid" show?  :)

I've planned and designed a costume around my Mexican heritage that's very feminine and has a ton of makeup. But it's a secret for now! :eusa_think:  If I can gather all the pieces and make it work, I'll most assuredly post pics.

I really don't get slutty costumes, they require very little imagination and I would dress this like this on a daily basis if possible.

I would pick something like frida khalo or maybe Trotsky.

I'm 40 DD/F.  I hid them two years ago and last year I didn't go anywhere.   I'm showing them this year.   Don't know the exact outfit yet but they will be on display. Super slut..

I still have not figured out what I should be. in general I should be something scary since it halloween,
so like the scull from nightmare before christmas, or a demon was my thought, but I really dont know.

I could also do crossdress as the little redhood, or use some old costumes as a bumblebee or playboy bunny.
so many idea so little money haha.. :D

I miss loving halloween.  Doesn't seem to be much to do on Halloween anymore now that trick-or-treating is out of the question.  I work during the day and my best friend works a double until 1AM.  Not much into the bar scene.. Don't know anyone who throws a party.. seems pretty pointless to dress up just to dress up by yourself or to hang out with 1 or 2 other people.  I could do that any day.  It'd almost seem less sad any other day too

Anyone with any fun ideas let me know! hah.

Maybe I'll find a fun hat to wear to work.  My boss has a pretty good sense of humor.  Gotta stick to the uniform though pretty much.

I wanted to go as a Female Swashbuckler pirate/wench by California Costumes but my wife is so anti gender dysphoria she would NOT let me. I had already purchased the perfect boots and wig, but I need to keep my marriage in tact so I really have no say.  I so wish she would let me do this but I think I know that she knows this is the opening of Pandoras box which she wants no part of.

I think she knows who I really am but is so imperiably strong and independent she just cannot allow it to happen for whatever reason.

So, I'm here, confused, ABSOLUTELY FRUSTRATED because I'm dealing with a person who is with out a question suffering from Toxic Shame, this entire situation is an absolute cluster ->-bleeped-<-.

It's times like this where I wish someone like Dr. OZ OR THE doctors or Oprah or Any mass volume show could step in and find an equal solution.

Either way, it's late and I know my babble is just flint in ur dryer.  These words really only ever help me know, which is all right. Not all of us deserve to hear our stories told.

Peace and good luck in the new year.

It is already Halloween?

To be honest, not really sure what I am going to be doing. A friend suggested that I dress as how I see myself on the inside, but I don't really feel like doing that since I am not out to any of my family members yet(was going to come out to my mom today, she fell asleep before I had the chance).

But probably, if my family is even planning on doing anything this year, I will just take out my old gothic/punk jacket and wear that.... Most likely I will end up, once again, celebrating my Halloween on a video game.

my daughter is going to be a black cat.
i'm probably going to be a boring parent.

the best halloween was when she wanted to be luffy, and i ofc had to be shanks.
for some reason they found my eyes really scary, maybe because i wore white contacts that only showed my pupils...?
because people always smile back at me any other time.

Hey all,
How was your Halloween? Mine was pretty good. Went to this local LGBT nightclub (Lots of "straight") people go there also and had a great time.

Met this other Transwoman named Tracy and we talked Hormones, Coming out ect.

She even tried to break up a fight between two men, they were almost right next to us. I was scared tbh.  :D

About three different guys and one Girl were hitting on me. I made sure I was there only to have fun and enjoy the shows/costumes if you get my drift.  ;)

This one drunk Man (I'll tell you why I said Man as you keep reading) dressed as a woman was very drunk. He was only wearing like a garter teddy and stockings with panties and heels/wig. He started rubbing my waist and I slightly backed away as I looked down to check out "his" outfit. He had a testicle hanging out of his panties and I whispered into his ear: "Sweetie, you need to go to the restroom and check your Tuck."
lol
Well, he decided to do it right there where we stood, I walked away.
Rest of the night went great, just a girl having a good time.

Hope you like the pic. :) I decided to do the Octoberfest Beer Girl.

Alas, I finally post a pic of myself (as my new avatar)! I dressed in the Mexican Dia De Los Muertos makeup and outfit. It was a milestone for me, for the firs time I publically wore a dress, makeup, tights, a bra, and had a purse. I got a few complements at the clubs I went to.  :icon_cool:

I didn't have time to make a new costume, so I went as Leeloo from 5th element again. I made this costume last year from an old undershirt during the dude days. Seemed like a good use ;)

Yes I am sucking in a little bit in this photo, LOL ;D

The top is one of those white unpadded sportbra things from Target, and the bottom base is a pair of bottoms from American Apparel. The rest is strips of white tshirt sewn together. It's not the most flattering picture, but I am just really proud of making this costume :)

The most interesting part of this costume is definitely being pre-op. This is the only thing I've ever worn that has required the tape method. Luckily I seem to be pretty good at it.. no mishaps! Yipes.

Thanks!  :icon_dance:  Since I had never done anything this ambitious makup wise, including my hair it took me the better part of 2 hours. It's not something I'd want to do on a regular basis. But damn, did I look good that night. Funny thing is, I bought some cheap 2" heels at Goodwill for $10 earlier that day, and ended up wearing my 6" platform heels. They hurt like hell walking on asphalt and cement, but I kept thinking beauty is pain.  >:-)

Geez this is quickly turning into a spinoff fabulous thread.

Jessika serving up the Oktoberfest vibe in utmost german style and poise

Abby looking SUPER cute in her fuzziness (congrats on first pic btw! Starting out WONDERFULLY!) I would wear the crap out of that dress btw

Natalie tearing up the frankenbombshell look, amazing

Hayley rocking the hipster feels, nailed the posture and cute n cozy factor

antonia holding down the A list celebrity status with maximum fab applied. Good god woman, strikingly beautiful
-Thank you for the compliment on my costume, by the way! :D

And Haley just making my face scrunch up with the cuteness. Stop! (don't stop). If that is supposed to be scary pirate, I'm sorry you fail! ;) I would accept adorable pirate, though. Might be the smile. I'm not complaining.

I'm very proud of us. I hope more people post their photos, this is pretty great

EDIT: oops almost missed skin who posted a link. Love that look! And I love how proud you look with it :)

Well I suggest you do check it out, because I'm telling you- it's probably the best for our body types. Especially with a name like skin, you'd really get a kick out of it ;) Ha!

Something about the vertical line down the middle and the horizontal lines spaced how they are, it's wonderful for downplaying shoulders and accentuating hips. Look at Milla Jovovich, she has the same rectangular or banana shaped build that a lot of us do. Pretty neat stuff.

The next best as far as proportional & flattering is something like Jessika and Abby wore. Empire waisted or A-line dress is a sure-fire win for the exact same kind of body shape. I almost did a 1920s flapper dress this year for that reason ;) Next year probably.

Flapper is where I am going to take it next year. I want to do classic hollywood look, complete with black and white makeup. Even if I felt confident enough to do Leeloo, it was 35 degrees this year. That was even cold enough for me to wear jeans under my dress :-P

Yess an opportunity to live out halloween experiences again, love it ;D I've been wanting to go as a witch for a lifetime and finally had the courage. I was so freaking happy I guess it shows. I hated to put the hat in the closet afterwards so I included it in my profile pic ;)

Jenny said it, wonderful pics you have here!

I had a very uneventful Halloween. I sat at home all day. Nobody invited me to anything. I wanted to cosplay as Irisa from the show Defiance, or dress up as a wicked looking "demoness" of sorts. Problem is, I don't have the clothes, accessories, or money to really make that stuff happen; and honestly, I'd rather have been on HRT for at least a year so that I have some physical changes that will help me feel more comfortable trying to pull off a look without being misgendered. So, next year should be more eventful.

This is the first time in many many years I actually dressed up for Halloween and I am glad it did. I am not out to many people and the ones I am did not go to the same party as me, so I was a little nervous showing up in this. All my fears were unfounded and I had a great time :)

Thanks Pansy :) I am my own worst critic so I never really know how I look dressed and until Halloween have never been out dressed except for my back yard. It has been nice to see others reactions.

No drunk pirates at the party but there was this one lady dressed as Kaiser Wilhelm that was giving me a lot of attention.

I don't know what I will wear next year. Hormones will/should be in effect and who knows what my face will be like. It might be the deciding factor on my next costume.  ;D
