Title: Is arousal possible after surgery?
Post by: Auroramarianna on October 25, 2014, 01:34:20 PM
I know sensation is possible after surgery, but is natural occurring arousal possible too? Like, you see a hot guy and feel aroused sexually without stimulation? I really would like to know as I am young and have already zero sex drive and natural occurring arousal,  IDK I may have low testosterone for guy levels. I need to get on HRT.

I think arousal has something to do with imagination and maybe other thinks. Sex drive definitly has something to do with hormons. When I was on a low dose hrt my sex drive was zero. Now after grs and qith a high E dose I have a strong sex drive. Together with my imagination I easily become aroused when seeing a nice guy. I a really become wet because of my arousal when he touches me, kisses me....

Yep. :) Although I was capable of that sort of arousal pre-op too, so I don't know how much that factors in. (And I don't get turned on by 99.99% of guys, but I know what you meant.)

Weird fact - that initial "tightening" feeling of erection beginning is the same, too, and it apparently is for the cis women I've talked to as well. Obviously there's no follow-up feeling of an actual penis shifting and growing, and instead I get a bit of lubrication now.

Oki thank you :), I was really curious to know if arousal could happen seeing as I am zero aroused already. But idk, i also have a high voice, no beard, fatigue, no naturally occurring erections, etc...so yeah. I am 18 btw as well. I am worried HRT will make me completely sexless lol.

I'm 4 months post-op. I've been aroused a lot. No O yet, though.

Dear....
You will get aroused, sometimes more than before HRT, like most females thou you have a self control that stops you dry humping every hot guy that moves.

Do NOT attempt to compare male state, and post op arousal or orgasm.

I am coming up on two years post, and I do get clitoral erections, but also have other body parts involved in the program.  It is a total surprise to me, but I seem to be Bi as far as the arousal goes.  My first "O" that resulted in a boy like leak from the urethra was from using my dilator on the underside of my prostate gland.  With a clitoral erection, my natural lubrication goes up nicely.  It took me until month 11.5 to get the clitoral sensation and feelable erection going, although it could have been going sooner, but my nerve pattern did not recognize it for what it was.

Thank you for the replies :)

I may have low testosterone cause I am 18: have no beard, a high voice in female range actually, fatigue, depression and natural occurring erections never happen for me now. I remember when my T probably spiked its peak at 14, when I got 3 or 4 but then never experienced again. It's very difficult for me to be sexually aroused already, and I honestly don't mind, I just don't want that to affect me if I ever decide for operation.

The short answer is hell yes.
