Title: obsessed with top surgery?

Hi all,
I just had DI with Garramone in September, so I am still pretty early in the healing (7-8 weeks). But one thing that surprised me is that I can't seem to read enough about or see enough pictures of people's top surgery results. It made sense to me when I was choosing a surgeon, and even while I was waiting for surgery (because I was anxious), but I am wondering how long it will last. My one friend said it makes sense, because top surgery is a really big deal, and it's not like everyone around me has been through it, so of course I go looking for information.
Anyone else postop who seems to have an insatiable thirst for top surgery info and discussion?

I was obsessive too after surgery, wanting to write about it all the time. You can make note of it by looking at the large number of my posts in the sticky Recovery Thread. I really think people were getting sick of me! Speaking of that thread, you never came back to tell us if your swelling went down!

Quote from: Brett on October 26, 2014, 01:29:58 PMThanks for the reply, Brett. I really doubt people were sick of your posts based on the number of views that thread gets! Also, I found the level of detail helpful reading them preop. For example, I originally only planned to take two weeks off my desk job, but when I didn't feel ready to back at week three, I didn't. I thought of what you and others said about taking it slower.

Thanks for asking about the swelling! I will post an update in the sticky thread. It looks pretty much the same.

Here here! Nah just kidding. I think obsession with this is normal for awhile. At least I'm not worried about it either. But I've stopped watching the videos.

This stopped for me once my scars started turning more white in color. I used to do the same thing, look up peoples results after 3 months, 6 months, 2 years. Now I'm just happy with how my chest is healing, and I know in 2 years its still gonna look really different.
