Title: So how do post-ops increase libido once testicles are off?
Post by: Evolving Beauty on November 01, 2014, 06:48:20 AM
My sex drive is DEAD! DEAD!! DEAD!!! since I had SRS. Is there anyway to rise my sexual appetite up a bit? If possible, how?

The biggest sex organ in the whole body is  ........ the brain.

Dr. Lonnie Barbach PhD wrote a good publication called For Yourself :  The Fullment of Female Sexuality (Signet Publications)  complete with exercises to in achieveing orgasm

This can be augmented with a visit to a sex therapist. Both suggestion work very well, particularly if you find a therapist who knows what she is talking about.

Good luck. It is a very simple solution. You just need to look at it from the right perspective.

Yeah Sarah indeed I use my brain only now but I wish it was a bit like before when it was 'automatic'.

My sexdrive is very high after srs. With more sexdrive I would have to change my job and become a sex worker.

My T is in female range and I take a fairly high amount og P and E. With a lower dose my sexdrive is also much lower. I had to convince my doc to give me still the high dose hrt because he wanted to lower my intake.

Hi.
Sometimes antiandrogens can damage the adrendal glands and those are what would otherwise produce Progesterone and Testosteron Post-GRS. So if that happened to you (either becaus eof Antiandrogens or otherwise) , you may have a low Progesterone and /or testosteron level. I would say get both checked by your endocrinologist and dont let them send you away with "XY women dont need progesterone because they have no uterus" or "there are many women with almost no testosterone". Get informed about what normal levels of both are for women and see if you can get a prescription for both. I would suggest to first try it only with progesterone, that already did a lot for me - if that is not enough, you can also try and get some T, but it is harder to get as it is usually only sold in high dosages for men. I was basically asexual for years post-GRS and now that is changing. Not always, but there are weeks where it did improve by adding those two hormones in dosages that make sense.

Are you on progesterone? If not, you may try adding progesterone along with your estrogen. I cycle progesterone and have a noticeable increase in sex drive when on it.

Umm, very few sex workers I know or have known over the years actually enjoyed their work - I know I didn't. It was a way to make money, pure and simple. And unless you have the right mindset, it will leave you a little broken.

My sex drive has changed 180˚ over the years.
Its because I had relearn what worked, when I was even turned on.

How long post are you? For me there was a time, around 6 months to a year where I had next to no sex drive, it was more he's cute I wanna swing hands with him, after a while that was "I wanna swing hands with him, after I &&&&..........

It comes back, just takes a lot of learning to what works and any number of factors can make it go away.
My best friend was saying to me today that for the first time since she started to masturbate she hasn't felt like theres a need for sex in 2 months, she's working hard saving for her wedding & honeymoon, she's stressing out because 3 people in her department have quit in the past month and she's behind on rent.
