Title: How do you deal with presurgical jitters?
Post by: Kamiki on November 05, 2014, 06:21:04 PM
You know that wedding cold feet feeling women are described to have in movies.

I have never experienced it. From either side, until now.

But this is the first surgical alteration of my form. 13 years of RLT or not. Tomorrow is huge.

And the nerves are hitting me right fierce.

How do you deal with those last minute (did I pick everything correct?!?!?!) nerves?

Any help would be appreciated as I am right nervous, totally excited, and completely freaking out as much as any younger woman getting her first "job" might be. Nose, boob or other!

I'm sorry as much as someone can comfort you they moment you walk through them doors....it's on your adrenaline kicks in. I have had three hip replacements in the last 3 years in my 30's and the latest back in September. The only thing I can suggest is think of the positive results

Look at the positives and that you will finally achieve your dreams. Yes, and even then its scary. I have only had one surgery and I only had a bad reaction to morphine and got very nauseaous afterwards. I'm going for my SRS in April and honestly I'm more excited than scared but I know the few nights before I will have some fears and I will make sure that I have people to support me emotionally before and when I wake up.
