I'm trying to write a coming out letter to friends and family any suggestions on how to write it and what to say would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss of words, and don't even know where to begin!

The single best piece of advice I can give is to speak from the heart. To come out by telling those you need to by telling them truly how you feel and why you are transitioning. Good luck and hugs.

Many people share their coming out letters online. You could look at others' to help get the ball rolling. Like Mariah said, just speak from the heart.
*hugs*
Good luck, sweetie. :)

Same thought here I've read many beautifully written coming out letters online the key though is speaking from the heart being honest and a little bit of education about what you've been going through ,really seem to help me a lot when I did mine. Also, don't be afraid to borrow a few lines from these letters that seem to fit with you and kind of blend them together into something that speaks about you. Best of luck to you, sweetie. May the Angels always look upon you and help guide you on your path.
Hugs,
Melissa Ann

I used many of the letters already online as a guide for what to put in and as a basic structure, but then I made sure the words were mine, because that was important to me. I then spent a few days reviewing and tweaking until I was as happy as I could be, given the impact it would have on my wife.
For me, telling my wife that I still loved her and the children was the most important item.
