I don't know what to really think of the situation anymore as far as some of my family goes. Stubborn maybe is the correct word.
They now have started to use my name, only because my children and I pressure them to, but are still dead set on using the wrong pronouns. I'm actually secretly wishing at some point they'll introduce me in public to someone they know and utterly confuse the person as they register the female pronoun with a masculine passing male in front of them.
And don't get me started on the hundreds of attempts I've made to try and rationalize with them on this. They refuse to listen.
Anyone ever experience this with family members/friends before? Did they eventually just give up and switch over? Or still stubborn as always?

my family is stubborn, especially my mom, she wont even use my preferred name and refers to me as her daughter, I love the looks she gets or people give us when they get confused looking at me and I'm being referred to as she. I just kind of gave up the arguing, long as everyone else is being pretty good with it, I just let her be her. I figured its not easy, but damn it sucks sometimes.

My parents definitely are. They still calls me hijita and uses my legal middle name, even my brother though I will let him know to stop soon since he's actually supportive. I don't really care too much though since they will be out of my life permanently soon. The relationship between me and my family is beyond saving even before transition came into the picture and just happened to be the last straw.
