Title: Getting them hips :P
Post by: akegia on November 10, 2014, 06:19:34 AM
Hey Gals,

Just really noticed that I am starting to get hips, and a bit bigger butt. EXCITED :)

I was excited until I gained about 50 pounds in my thighs and ass. After that I stopped getting excited and started debating liposuction.

Jeez, I'm already at 40" and only mildly to moderately overweight (170-175lb) for my height (5'7"). I hate to think what HRT would do to them.

Ha, at my age (45) I don't know whether hips will ever come, or whether I should just be grateful that my straight-up-and-down virtually curveless body allows me to fit into almost any dress without problems.

Has anyone near my age got experience and comment about this?  I'm naturally slim, so I don't tend to add weight easily.

Yes, I've got a bit of hip shape, not sure if I always did or if it's because I was once on HRT for two years starting when I was 23. XXY folk with Klinefelter's tend to have wider hips too (I'm nit XXY though). Since I started HRT again at 47 the development has been quite pronounced.

I've had a little here and there. My butt filled out a lot around the rear quarter panel area :P ;) You know, that place where there is usually a dimple on males. It is now round.

I will always want more hip. Give me the hip! This is not over until I get it :police:

Supposedly after SRS/orchi the body continues to feminize more. But I think I'll probably still want more, so I've been researching surgical options. Fat transfer seems like a viable approach for those who desire a bit more in the derriere/hip department. I am half planning on doing this if 2 years post-op I still feel the need.

I am 5'4"s and weight that much and its ALL IN MY ASS or thighs. I was about 120-125 when I started all those years ago, but nope. I eat healthy too and exerise regularly, but that is okay cause I am getting massive amounts liposuctioned in January so I am all good for now.

Cant say I'm near your age unless of coarse I'm 'hip' deep in the denial river, but yeah I thought Oh Boy more butt, but during the weight loss process prior to hrt I 'lost' two inches.  :(   Soooooooooo, if any improvement does happen it would have to be a plus because ya can't subtract from zip.     Dani

My hips aren't growing as such, but my waist does seem to be slimming down; that gives the effect of hips, but not really enough to offset the fact that my shoulders are still far too wide and the whole thing looks rather ugly.

BTW, cute new avatar, Julie.

I am really hoping I can get some hips my measurements are 35-28-35. I would like 37 for the hips. I am 5'11" and 140 so I can afford to put on some weight. Its kinda weird I want booty even more then boobs. though i do want boobs but i would like an A or B cup

My ideal measurements are 36-27-37. I think its possible.... crossing my fingers!

Also i don't know how to measure shoulders but i feel like mine are wide.

Yeah my shoulders are major insecurity... 44 inches of insecure (shudder). I hope they at least shrink a bit. I use circumference because I use a stylist app that needs that measurement.

Right now my measurements b-w-h are 40-31-40. I know the ship has sailed for hip bone growth but maybe I'll get some fat redistribution. Surgical options I'm dreading but I don't think I'll need it.

Hips are completely a thing for some of us in HRT I have 39.5 inch diameter hips :o okay sure like 50 for shoulders i bet (Total guess work I doubt 50 but they are quite broad) and yea I was happy until all my fat went to my but :o ohhhh the stretch marks  :'( :'(

Viva to developing hips! AntiViva to mens pants and the lack of stretching!

Note: girls stop fighting :o also to give perspective i am 5'6 ft

I agree never be mature unless you need to.

I don't know what my hop diameter is but was over ecstatic when I found out my natural chest was a mid sized A. Shoulders are a bit wide too. I really hope my hips only grow on the left a bit more. My right side can hold a 6 year old just fine for a half hour. Then my legs get tired but I'm proud of that.

The biggest burden I've seen for any woman is fat distribution. It goes on your chest and hips then grows around from there. Still not sure how my cousin keeps it off after 4 kids.

I didn't notice my hips growing (and I figure they wouldn't this early in), but just this morning I noticed the side of my legs have STRETCH MARKS. I triple measured just to be sure and they grew a whole inch in the past 2 months! Hopefully they keep up for a year, then I'll have nice 40 inch hips.  :D

On that note, Aloe is your best friend for stretch marks! I'm youngish so hopefully they go away.

Mature?  I am at that point in life where I have to admit to being OLD.  It is far better to admit to a "senior moment" than some of the other ways silly things I do get taken.

Some of us would love to look as good as your avatar.

Hips?  I need to get rid of so much blubber that it will be a long time before I try any dedicated body sculpting.

I am totally an immature woman. :p

I love my hips- its early days but I suspect I am headed for pear shaped... My hips where wide for a guy... Possibly from D.E.S exposure?  I am loving the bum a bit more day by day but my ability to lose weight definitely slowed.  I am having a hard time dropping below size 18.

Gosh these changes are so soothing.  Anyone else feel a calming effect from focusing on changes?

I've actually done that myself. Either that or thinking of myself in full fem mode. Not drag but female. It always brings me comfort when I'm really stressed.

Yikes - I've been swallowing oestrogen tablets every day for 7 months and my figure remains resolutely as it was before I started this journey - 40" chest, 37" waist and 37" hips...and I'm just under 6' and 12 stone (and 71).  However measurement across my nipples is now 43" from 42"...does this mean growth?  (Waist measurement will probably not decrease as I had an umbilical hernia op a couple of years ago and the body has produced a layer of fat to protect the mesh the surgeon kindly inserted inside me!)

Full/flared skirts seem to help with 'padding out'!

Oh well, life goes on apace.

*edit for dosage

Oh yes, my ciswomen friends would ruefully note how easy it was for me to get into those tight jeans, capris and dresses.  Seems the women's fashion industry loves a boy booty while the MTV/pop culture is looking for bubbles?  Now, further along I don't measure but can feel that ass of mine getting tighter and tighter in that same pair of jeans.  Maybe I should stop washing them? ;)

The female clothing industry.  Such fail.  Much dissapoint.  So stupid.

I am 38, so was amazed I had any changes.  Genetics, intersexual development... Who knows?  I am glad to be alive... Hips area big fat bonus prize.

It's pretty tough getting into my pairs of jeans like it's funny how much effort I have to do to pull them past my hips, especially my skinnies. They fit perfectly at my waist it's just those thighs/hips getting in the way, not that I mind of course
