well, on the upside i got a call this morning from the hospital that i still owe a bunch of money to from a knee surgury a while ago. and my assistance request was accepted and i no longer have to make payments, so theres a little money extra each month.
unfortunately. still not having any luck finding a second job. :( quite a few interviews but, people dont want to hire someone for a 2nd part time position who is already working a job at another location.
which sucks, since i need to get my debt to my grandpa paid off before i can start hrt.
at least it means i have more leeway and when i do get him paid off will have an extra ~150$ per month to put towards transitioning expenses :D

Jtgasv,
It's really good news to hear you have a little extra money each month and I wish you the best of luck in finding a second job. How long will it be before you have your grandpa paid off? Are you seeing a therapist. Yet, I wish you nothing but the best of luck on your journey and may the Angels always look upon you and help guide you on your path.
Hugs,
Melissa Ann

i contacted the closest place i could (4 hours away), which was a gender health center and i am talking to a counselor from there once a month via skype, and they also have a hormone clinic there, but the counselor wants me to have my grandpa paid off before they will let me go to the hormone clinic... i guess being honest to them about things going on is a good and bad thing as well. if id kept my mouth shut i could have been on them already but. could have been shooting myself in the foot.
right now. if i get a job by the end of the year, assuming an extra 16-24 hours/wk. combined with my tax return, i should have my grandpa paid off in about 3-4 months. then a little extra in savings as padding in case of an emergency. was figuring beginning of june. but might be sooner if i get a 2nd job sooner. my goal is to have ~1k usd in savings to drop on electrolysis towards the beginning of going on hrt.
i look good on paper. and get quite a few interviews. and i do ok at the interview. (i had my current job[3 job offers] within 72 hours of getting into town and putting in applications) but. no one is biting the hook, for a second job.

actually, i think my current position i am in, would be amazing. if i was staying as a guy and not trying to start transitioning. im better off right now than most of my coworkers at my current job, in spite of the medical bills.
