Hi everyone!

I need help on how to make my face look like it has facial hair. I've tried eyeshadow but most of my eyeshadow has sparkles in it so it doesn't look like stubble. Also, the hair on my face is thin and blonde so it's hard to make makeup stay around my mouth. I tried just adding eyeshadow on like I would blush...well it was a stupid idea but hey, everyone has to try things their own way first.

I have pictures of how I added eyeshadow to my upper lip...I think I may have that down pat but I don't know how to add a "shadow" to my chin...

Does it look okay? I'm just not sure...

Any advice on how to add makeup to look like facial hair?

If you google: Facial hair cosplay, there are a LOT of tutorials on how to try different things to achieve the facial hair look.

Why not use crepe wool?
Get a bunch, cut it up really tiny, apply a glue to your face and brush it on. Another option would be mascara on the hair you have.

I have long hair so what I do is trim some of my hair and keep it in a little plastic container (that actually sounds a little creepy now that I think about it...). When I want a beard or shadow I cut the hair into stubbly pieces, apply a mixture of Elmer's glue and water to my face where I want the beard then just dab on the pieces of hair. It takes some practice to get it to look right but it looks a lot more natural than the makeup techniques I've tried. When I'm done I can just peel it right off and throw it away so the cleanup isn't very messy.

I just looked up crepe wool beards and they look awesome! I'll have to try to get a hold of some of that stuff. When I did my own hair for my beard I was in need of a trim anyway and it was in a pinch since I didn't have much time home alone to do it.

Fake facial hair is dangerous territory. 

I've tried crepe hair before and it looked good. But only put a little bit or else it will look fake. Try not to go for a full beard. What I did was cut up a little bit, spread it apart and put it on the bottom of my chin. It blended in with the little bit of facial hair I had from being on T and made it look like I had alot. Get a color that's lighter and not too dark. Get spirit gum to put it on and get the spirit gum remover to take it off. You can get crepe wool for cheap on Ebay. I got one there for $3.49.
