Title: What's Next?

I know this is a very subjectice topic but I'm wondering how other people went about their transition. I'm four months into electro and three months into HRT and not really sure what to do next. Start working on my voice? Keep on the electro and HRT until I can't pass as male without effort? Start looking into legal aspects? It's such a daunting task that it seems overwhelming at times.

I made a list of what all i needed to do.
Gave each a priority number and changed there order if i felt one would make the next easier.
Day at a time.

Always worthwhile working on voice. I'd practice in the care, when I was alone, with my GT, and with my trans friends.
Also wardrobe, makeup, etc.
If you're overwhelmed, try making a list. It really helped me. Something like: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,133597.0.html (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,133597.0.html)

Thank you both. :) I'm going to start a list and go from there.

I've been basically winging it but I need to get organized.
Clothes I buy once a month or so, maybe if I see something cheap or that I really like I get. Panties I'm pretty much done, I have a ton, at least until hormones start to change my size. Bras I'm holding off on getting more because boobs will grow. I have a few clothes for fall and summer but I need to get some for winter and I started with a coat. Maybe some boots too.
Voice I have professional help starting soon.
Makeup I have to learn. I started with eyebrows. Maybe I'll go to MAC or sephora. I actually do go to sephora to buy stuff already (for my wife and skin care for myself).
Hair is growing but slowly. I have wavy Indian hair so it's gonna be slow. Need to learn to style it.
Practicing my new signature for my new name.
Slowly dropping hints to my friends but I'm so scared of coming out to them as some are definitely transphobic. Work kinda is figuring out stuff already about me as I go in dressed on some days.

Ok so I can get a little nerdy when it comes to planning. I'm a business analyst so this is just how my mind works. But I found it wise to be clear about your milestones. I mean, I view Laser as just a given that will continue until it's all gone. But voice is a milestone I beleive. I chose not to start (apart from personal practice) to far before I'm planning to live at least part time. But from a financial perspective I need to know the major mile stones, FFS, SRS ETC. When am I going to present full time at work. I don't need to plan to buy clothesl, because whether I'm presenting as male or female, this needs to happen anyway (unless of course your female wardrobe is empty).

So personally, I would think about the big ticket stuff, the milestones. The rest is just part of day to day transition for me.
That's my two cents,
Hugs,
Bree

Haha awesome. I work with BAs and I know how much of a stickler for charts and timelines they are :)
