I trust what my nurses and Doctor says but i just want to be sure and if anyone still had that feeling after 3 weeks post op. That feeling down there of tiny throbbing pain and stinging? It's not to a point where i can't sleep but it's just constantly there even after i dilate it comes back. Is it normal to feel those tiny prickling or throbs of tiny pain down there? What exactly is happening and when will it go away completely?
As for stitches, when and how long until your stitches fell out or dissolved? What should I expect to encounter in the next few months?
I mean i know everyone's body and healing is different but i just want some insight on what you encountered....

I had my SRS at 21, I'm now well into my 30's and every now and then I'll get a quick pain down there, at max for a second, but it can make me jump.
I've had it checked out and all my doctors say theres nothing wrong

It really worries me a bit. I mean this SRS and BA is the first ever surgeries I ever got done and I've never felt or gone through any of these feelings physically or mentally before. But i can truly say I'm extremely content I've had it done but I'm at the same time very curious at all these sensitive feelings and what I need to expect in a few years lol

It's probably nerves reconnecting, and it can last for months. If it's a genuine nerve report - something is actually being irritated down there - I'm afraid it's both permanent and happens to cis women too. :) But this newly post-op, it's likely part of the healing process.

At 22 months along, I get an occasional "electric shock" that can make me jump a bit. I had degrees of the tingling up until about 6 months when my brain decided to relate sensations to the actual source, and not to some quasi phantom spot. At 11 months the really nice sensations became something I could count on.
For sutures, the last one I really knew about finally got out of the way just at 6 weeks. It had been at the top of my labia minora, and on one or two occasions had been a nuisance to dilating. The biggest relief though were the two just at the bottom of my vulva, and sitting became SOOOO MUCH MORE comfortable.

I believe your Dr was Chettawut? If I'm not Mistaken? Mine was too, expect the stinging, throbbing, tingling to be going on for 6 month to a lil over a year, reconnection of nerves and just the healing process is going on so it's pretty much the norm. Stitches will start to come out at end of 4 weeks and don't be surprised if a long one or 2 come out on your dilator (happened to me) initial response is that of terror, but it's normal as well by end of 6 to 7 weeks most all stitches should be gone, I my self actually helped them a little by cutting and removing a couple here and there externally, but please don't take this as a suggestion!! A co
Upl of mine I believe needed assistance as the ones I removed became very itchy and annoying. What you can also do (I did) is see a gynecologist or your own primary Dr to have them look and see how your healing is coming and how healed you are.

Healing and shots of electric and some pain can be up to a year.
I am at 19 months and still get some electric shocks.
It's major surgery and takes a long time to heal.
Relax.

Thank you all so much for your advice and insightful information. As I shouldn't worry about it too much I suppose since I am still in my healing process.

I still have them too, and I am almost four months post op, I will have them anywhere from 9 months to 18 months after surgery.
