I really need to move away from this neighbourhood. I almost get no sleep because of 3! neighbours. I live in a flat, with thin walls. Last week I made an arrangement that no music will be played after 10. A day later, I woke up at 2 'o clock with loud music. A day later two men were kicking againt a neighbours door at 5 freaking AM.... I lost it and openend my window and just screamed at them

Today? well, a housemate (have one, live beneath me) had a girlfried with him. We had an agreement: no people after 10 in weekdays, no music, nothing but peace. So I took a bath,  relaxing after surgery and dilating and that girl was banging on the door told me to come out. I completely smashed the bathroom. It is too much, I cannot handle people anymore. I never play loud music, I never talk, I never make a nuisance, always keep in mind others, yet EVERYONE around me seems to make my life a living hell. I swear, I going to do something I will regret... I am so tired of it.

What can I do? I am out of wits... this is NOT me, I really feel I am going to do something I will regret when another thing happens.

I want to move, but I do not have the money. I need about 1000$ to move, and it will take me at least 7 months to save for it.

That is not all, know what has started this rage?

The day before I had to go to the hospital for surgery, one neighbor decided to throw a party. I slept 20 minutes orso. Exactly the day before surgery.... can you imagine? exactly THAT DAY. Like this place is cursed or something... I am about to explode if this doesn't end.

You have my sympathy. Can't you phone the landlord and complain or go to the police? I know here in the UK there are laws against anti social behaviour like this. Try to record the noise and write down when it happened so you can use it as evidence against them and hopefully get it sorted.

Thanks, I did once a week a go. Maybe if I complain again he might think I am a complainer and evict me. That is my biggest fear, because I will be instantly homeless, and given the fact I am trans I might become a target of some sorts... I definitely need to move.

I am so desperate I am willing to sell all my stuff to a pawn shop just to escape this place. Maybe that is what I should do: save every single penny and get away as quickly as I can.  I am even willing to sleep on a bench in the local park just to be left alone and sleep for change. It is that bad.

I'm afraid you'll need to spend a little on ear plugs, or a lot on rent.

I get the same to... Like  >:( I know I did try ear plugs when my mum brang me some but they just muffled the noise, but headphones work really well, like I'm the same when it's of the day I couldn't care less but of a night  >:( hell no I need my sleep, so now when ever it happens the earmuffs go on, tho I haven't needed em for a while.   

Maybe that might also give you the time to save for somewhere else, with peace n quiet

Got a whole bag of them earplugs. They work to some degree, and I have to use them everyday. One set even gave me an ear infection. Probably overused. Sometimes they don't work. When people come home from drinking at 3 AM they smash doors and walk the stairs like a rhino... it's just permeates everything. I think it even starts to affect my health...

I have some rather obnoxious neighbors, the neighbor right next door is the worst and I have several nicknames for him including "Captain Obnoxious"
and "Mr. Poopy Pants"

I had many of those as well for many years.  Unfortunately, it happened pretty much everywhere I've rented.  When I finally got away from "D*ckhead", I got subjected to "Crackula" who dealt and smoked cocaine all night and slept all day.  When I got away from him, it was a friendly guy who was a Hollywood actor, but he'd get drunk and turn into a screaming jerkwad.  I moved next door, and it was quiet for a few weeks until the bass player from Papa Roach moved in. (My amps were just as loud and we came to an understanding  >:-))  Then I got "Harvey Wallbanger", who was guano loco and would bang on my wall every time he heard a noise, most of which were probably just in his head.  I tried to get him evicted, but the landlady just gave him "stern warnings".

My point is that even if you lose these jokers, another set of them will likely take their place.   You can't really win until you can move to a quiet neighborhood.
