I really don't know what's wrong with me....I just came home for thanksgiving break . I did get misgendered a lot today but before right now I was doing ok so that doesn't explain it. I just feel nothing emotionally like I'm dead inside but I almost feel sick at the same time....anyone have ideas of what might be going on or how to feel better?

these things can take a while to hit you, especially if you're otherwise enjoying yourself, and sort of all come crashing down when you take a break. Might be worth sneaking away for some quality me-time - headphones on with favorite music, or jump in the tub if that's your thing (and you're not hogging the only bathroom in a house full of people) just take the time to reconnect to who you are away from the people who aren't seeing you.

Holidays can have a huge expectation and force you into certain social situations that you aren't you. This goes for both trans and cis individuals. Find some time for yourself to get the occasionally recharge.

I feel so numb now that I don't even feel the pain when people misgender me...either that or I changed my mind and/or have been making this trans thing up all along.....
