Just wondering if any of you lovelies are located anywhere close to me in Massachusetts. I'm a student at umass amherst and would love to find a girl who would take me under her wing, hang out, and help me bring out my fem side. I'm pretty young (21) and really trying to find some loving and accepting people to get me into the T community and help me become the real me. I'll be back at UMass monday afternoon until the end of the semester, then spending winter break in central massachusetts (in a town bordering worcester). If you'd be interested in hanging out just drop me a line here or send me a PM or something.. really hoping to find somebody :-* ;)
If this is breaking the rules I'm very sorry and I will delete!

I'm across the state in Weymouth. This group has a calendar of events for local meetings: http://tcne.org/ Good luck!

Oohh, I hope you meet some great folks there! I have such fond memories of UMASS (I lived there for a couple of months during an internship back in oh-seven). I hadn't yet acknowledged that I'm trans at that time, but I made great friends there and found the area to be rather lgb-friendly.

Hi!
I'm from the area. There is a local group called Unity of the Pioneer Valley
https://www.facebook.com/groups/UniTySpringfield/
I've only ever kept up with them on the internet, but they have been active since before I moved into the area in 2002 when I was a grad student at UMass. I never checked out the uni's Stonewall center but they have an extensive list of trans-friendly providers. They may also have suggestions as well.

Also, I can highly recommend a gender therapist in Granby. She works with many trans people and would definitely be able to help you with ideas of how to find other trans people your age. If you haven't seen a therapist yet I would strongly consider making an appointment.
