hello all,
Ive been on T for 6 months now and Ive had my nurse check my blood test results. It said it was 30.3 and the system marked it as red, saying its higher than normal. Now this almost surely means its higher than average female levels so I tried looking up average male and female levels, but everything I have found was in an entirely different type of measurement, something like 1700nb/ml (?)
Does anyone know what the conversion is like?

There are two ways to measure testosterone. Total testosterone and "free" testosterone.
Most testosterone is bound to SHBG, sex hormone binding globulin. In healthy males, free testosterone ranges from 10-41 pg/mL.
Your 30.3 level is evidently "free" testosterone, and it is a bit on the high side.
Total testosterone levels in healthy males ranges from 300-1100 ng/dL.
There is no way to convert between the two types of level since the free T depends on SHBG levels.

I think your unit is 30.3 nmol/L, which converts to 874 ng/dL (you just multiply 30.3 by 299.42 which is the molecular mass then divide it by 10 for dL)
It is not actually too high, maybe boarderline high, depends on the reference you use. My old lab used 200-800 ng/dL as normal range, and my new lab uses 300-1200 ng/dL
