Title: buying a corset online (australia)
Post by: Clhoe G on December 05, 2014, 10:16:33 AM
Hi everyone.

For quite some time I've been thinking corset training (waist training), but I've been having trouble finding suitable waist training corsets online, well more or less having trouble judging the quality, but this appears to be the best site for price http://www.corsets-au.com/corsets/3-for-2.html but I don't really know if there any good or not, tho they look a lot better then the everyday lingerie ones, so I think I'm in the right place, but...

I was wondering if anyone here has brought a corset online? and if so what site did you use?
also, what should I be looking for when buying a corset?

Never used one. Plenty of corset outlets around and sometimes cheaper to buy OS especially from the UK as their postage is low.

There are these waste trimmer type corsets you can get from china rather cheap.  They could get you started into the experience.  I have always been interested in such a hobby, but have not been able to even sleep with one of these basic trainers yet first..  they have these metal hooks and a zipper.  Easy to hide, but more comfortable for the first timer..  I'd recommend using first;)

Can I ask where you got it from?
was it from an online store?

Hi clhoe, it was from ebay.  I'm up and down all night from meds, but if I remember tomorrow on my way to the va, I will try to find you a link.  I have several corsets too.  They are all packed away.  I'd give them away if they were out..  they were cheaper too.  Just not into it yet..  I liked these units though.   They were comfortable during a long day;)  email me later if you haven't heard from me in a day.  I will try to post up here though..  nighty night

Hi Chloe;
I bought my corsets (in person) from a great store in Melbourne. But I believe they also do on line sales, but they have a great selection in the store.

See Siren Doll at 17 Johnstone St, Collingwood Victoria. www.sirendoll.com

I try to wear mine for a least 8 hours day for waist training.

They look like this.  I have mine on now.  It's a little more plain but comfortable.  And cheap if you get wrong size or don't like fit..  basically good to start w. Hope this helps..  I need to get a new one mine is a few months old and need to get smaller size since I'm shrinking;)

Hi Chloe;

no probs. My Deportment coach introduced me to them. She says wearing a pretty corset is great for posture training and of course as one adds the inches onto ones bottom and breasts it all helps to change ones posture. Then wearing high heels, I have definitely had a change in posture, obviously this because my centre of gravity has changed a bit as well. All this has meant that at least in appearance I appear to be slimmer and  have lost a little height (in no shoes). Effectively  I am standing with shoulders back, bust out, bum out and back arched. This is also good for the tummy muscles. The overall posture change,makes it much easier to walk in high heels.The corset also of course slims my wast and accentuates my growing hips.  Mind you I also try to wear my high heels daily for at least one hour a day. My coach says practice every day is the key!
