Does anyone else here LARP? It's always been part of me. Does anyone else here? The obvious "being able to play anything and any gender" seems to appeal to me now more than it has before...

I would get into LARP because I do a lot of tabletop gaming, but the live acting part just kills my anxiety problems. I get really bad panic attacks.

What table top do you play? I highly recommend LARP because it's such a friendly vibe.

thought I posted. Apparently not.
Fest-style LARP here in the UK for about 12-13 years now, have retired my last (female!) character and now having to come up with something new... weirdly I'm mostly struggling to think of a name for my new one!

I did NERO (a boffer weapon fantasy LARP) for years and years. I almost went back a few months ago for a special even even though I have not been in like 5 years. It got me thinking about how i would love in a year or two to go back and slip back into the same previously male character I played for so long with no real explination or change on my part. A part of me just loves the reaction I get from people who didn't know especially when they don't recognize me at first. :-P
for the same reason though I know it will never happen I really really wish my highschool would have a reunion in a few years. Nothing like seeing the kids you havent seen in 20 years....oddly I think the people I knew back then will not be as shocked as I hope they would be.
