Title: I can be me here, right?
Post by: LauraSpiral on December 08, 2014, 01:10:52 PM
Hi all, my name is Laura :)

Sadly, I was born with male genes, and I'm fully male, which I'm most of the time not happy about. I'm 19 from the UK, and I have been living as a male all my life. Since I was about 13, I discovered crossdressing, and since then I have been Laura, and I am never happier than I am when I am Laura!

My family don't know, and since I live at home, I cannot be myself, which is really painful and depressing. I cannot breach the subject with my parents, as I have tried to hint a few things about it but they have always responded negatively. I have no self confidence in myself, and it's really hard to be Laura sometimes!

I'm really hoping that, through this board, I can be myself. I've never gone public with myself before, and I am very anxious about writing this... But yes.

Nice to meet you all :)

Its hard for everyone at first, but yes you can be yourself here.

One of the first steps for me was realizing that I wasn't "fully male" but fully female just in a male disguise. I learned to look for Ashley in the mirror and when I started finding her that alone was a big help to me.

Laura,

Welcome to Susan's. Hopefully you will find here the support, confidence, and information that you were looking for. This is a great community, with some absolutely spectacular guys and gals; they'll be here for you, we all will, if you just put yourself out here and ask.

I am sorry about the situation with your family, sweetie, but with time your situation will get better.

So take your shoes off and make yourself comfortable; have a look around because this is your place. You absolutely get to be you here. Private message me if you ever need to chat.

Cheers, little sister,
Tegan
