Title: le sigh..

I've mentioned over and over to people how I need some help with beautification. I want my eyebrows done and some hands-on training with makeup, but I'm still sitting here in the dark hearing my voice echo. I hate having to go out anywhere these days because transition has freed me from having to uphold some kind of male persona, and I can't even reach an androgynous appearance because I'm not about to walk into a Sally's or a salon looking like I do right now without some support.
Not only do I need help figuring out what I need for my skin type and how to apply it, but I'm very interested in the art of makeup itself so that I can help others or prepare someone for a photo shoot. Despite all of the emotional support I've had, I feel incredibly alone. I've known very enthusiastic people in my 33 years like girls who jump at the opportunity to beautify their friends, but when I need that there's no one to be found. That seems to be a recurring situation with me no matter what it is I'm wanting to do.
It makes me depressed, because I start thinking about how I should have just been a natal female to begin with so I wouldn't have to worry about this stuff as some old crone. :-\ Any suggestions?

Girls like to chat with me regarding makeup and beauty, and I have learned a lot from them. Yes. Girls are the best friends to m2f transgender.

I'm sorry that you don't have anyone who is eager to help you - but have you asked? Have you been persistent? Have you insisted? Any true friend that you have should be willing to help at least a little bit. If they're giving cis girls the time of day but not you, then they sound like terrible friends to me.
If you are still at a loss, I would be willing to at least Skype with you and give you a few tips. It's not going to be as useful as actually putting makeup on you, but it might be useful? Just a thought.

I can't really drive around right now as my inspection is wayy overdue and I desperately need an oil change (can't afford to get all that done right now), so I pretty much have to wait for someone to come to me. I always hear "oh, we'll do this and we'll do that, and I'll help you with yadda yadda" but here I am, still waiting.
Thanks for the offer, but video chat gives me anxiety.. I know, I'm weird. I'm in no hurry for anything, yet, but it's just nice to have friends who take an active interest in your happiness. I always do. Good people are seriously cursed.

I took a course through makeupuniversity.com. The course was free and sure they try to get you to join and they also sell make-up but they also teach how to do skin care, make-up for various times, wedding make-up. Essentially the course is supposed to give you enough information and practice to start your own make-up business. If you join and pass their exam, they give a certificate of completion. As a non-member lessons were e-mailed but weren't downloadable.
You may want to check them out. Free is always good in my book.
Hugs,
