Title: When to use estrogen vaginal cream?

I am 2 months post op and my doctor said I have a healthy vaginal mucosa inside and everything was perfectly healed up already. But my doctor is not a fan of vaginal cream so I was wondering if I can already use this (such as estrace cream or premarin cream) as early as now? Or should I wait until my 1st year before using it?

If your doctor doesn't recommend you use it... is there a reason you want to? It's not necessary unless you're having the symptoms that it's prescribed for (primarily vaginal dryness), and if you do use it, you should make sure your hormone prescriber knows you're supplementing with additional hormones.
I also had normal vaginal tissue when my GP examined me at 4 months post-op, and his recommendation was simply to use a slightly better moisturizing lube (Vagisil, which has no estrogen added) when I dilate, as things seemed a little dry in there. That became less of an issue as time went on, and now I'm comfortably moist all the time.

Yes, because not all doctors are aware of this. I may not have a major bad symptom of something but my purpose is to make things down there more flexible and mimic the vagina's mucosa. I am 2 months post op and yet I am still a bit tight down there so vaginal cream would really help me alot about this.
I also did my research that in Thailand most of the popular surgeons there prescribes vaginal cream to make things flexible and elastic and it also has other benefits for post op mtf. My doctor is kunaporn's descendant and I know he prescribes his patient this as well.

OK, then you probably should check with one of the doctors who recommends it to see when they would suggest you start.
I've never had a problem with elasticity and lubrication, but if you are, you might as well give it a try. (My GP did recommend gentle massage to loosen the scar tissue inside, incidentally.)
