I am thinking about getting FFS by DR. Z in Chicago, i am in the process of getting HRT
started but i haven't started quite yet, i want to have my chin and jaw done as well as a trach shave
so my question is, would it hurt to do that early on or should i wait for some time on HRT and finishing
laser / electro on face, i want to go full time but i am kinda worried about passing full time without a little
help from DR Z

Kacey -
I too plan on going to Dr. Z for FFS, and I have similar concerns. It's been recommended to finish electrolysis on my face, along with several months on HRT for best results. I guess the reasoning for this is to allow for the HRT to promote natural feminization to occur, then evaluate your options at that point. But like I said, it was recommended not required. Currently I am just starting out, so my goal is to be evaluated in person by Dr. Z in 8-10 months from now.
