Hey Girls..
Well, After just six days I left for home. Got a limo to take me to the airport In Chicago.
It was so wonderful being wheeled to the gate and just relaxing waiting on the plane.
There was a woman and a older man who were in charge of getting me to the gate and we stopped at different stores to get stuff I needed.
They referred to me several times as this young woman.. it felt so good.
Anyway, I needed to go to the bathroom and did not hesitate to go to the ladies restroom. No issue there thats for sure..
Anyway, I am still on the mend an tired but will post later.
Love ya girls,
Keri

Nice to hear!
Me I've not yet gone for FFS and my face is already unrecognizable with hormones and fillers that I get stopped by officers and police in almost all airport I travel cos I resemble anything what I look like before. I get scared to travel now and my country wont do anything to provide me a new updated passport. I wonder what worse can happen to me when I go for FFS next...

Yeah, I need to get all my admin sorted too. They won't serve me at the bank anymore cause they don't believe the old and new me are the same person.
I don't think Ill go for FFS beyond maybe having my apple done. I'll just keep wearing a fringe to cover my cro-magnoid brow.

Hi Carrie
Isn't it great that you've got a result that leaves you as a "young woman"!!?
Now wait until you get stopped by passport control or other security and they don't believe you're the same person as the one in your picture. It's both a wonderful and annoying situation. On my last visit to the UK, specifically to swap my passport for a female one, when I got to passport control the agent wanted to know why I had given her my husband's passport :D
You'll have fun!

Thanks Girls. I officially change my name in the USA next week. I did not really think I would change that much from before FFS but everyone says not the same person at all
I think when some more swelling goes down I will look a little like the old me...
It is fun.. full time now.. all the time..

Do you know, the surgeons insisted to my mother that she'd recognise me, but my mother is not so sure about this...she says that there would be quite a high chance that she'd walk straight past me in the street :D

Returning home from FFS at the beginning of December, I was questioned by the passport guy in Dallas. He just looked at the pic and said "Really? No way" but accepted the explanation and didn't want to see the surgeons travel letters. Arriving in Sydney the electronic machine said "no" twice but I still had my nose taped and bruising everywhere. The passport man looked at me, asked what happened and then we had a chat about how much cheaper cosmetic surgery must be in Mexico compared to Australia! All very easy.
Problem now is it seems I will need to replace my passport once my face settles. Just too different. Not necessarily feminised but so much younger. I am happy with that.
