The Traditional Values Coalition (http://www.traditionalvalues.org/modules.php?sid=3124)
The homosexual/drag queen/transgender movement got a boost on August 10 from CNN talk show host Larry King.
King interviewed a number of individuals who believe they were born into the wrong body and are seeking – or already have had – so-called sex change operations.

"Traditional Values Coalition" now there is a contradiction in terms. They don't stand for my traditional values.

Hey, I can play there games too LoL... Just like you can inturpert the bible how you want, I can inturpert there statements as well heheheheh.
And here we go. Quote TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty. "Children who reject their own birth sex need help, not approval."
Well, there we have it. Even a biggot agrees that gender variant children need help, weather you personaly approve or not >:D
<Yes, I know I took his actual statement out of context, but is that not what they do to us day in and day out?>

After reading this article I downloaded a couple of TVC articles on the transgender agenda from links at their site. Some scary stuff folks! I also noticed in their articles, they never refer to a transperson using hir desired pronouns. Grrrr! >:(

I too looked at the TVC articles. You know what? Aside from the snide comments interspersed within the copious quoted material.... there's a lot of good material in there presented to the bigoted zealots. Even if they disagree with us, they are getting a lot of "our" information out to the rest of the world. Like "they" say, "There's no such thing as bad publicity."
I truly think that their smear campaign has just the opposite affect than what they have intended.
Bully for them! hehehe

Yes we could hope that any closeted trans people reading their stuff would want to find out more from the people being quoted. I think the very fact that they're this worried about us means that we're more accepted by the mainstream than we were even a few years previously ;D

The TVC has a long history of showing the hateful side of religion, especially when it comes to GLBT issues. I'm just so sorry for them that they'll never know the joy of what it's like to be at peace with themselves.

Me thinks they protest much too much, and much too loudly... think about it....
Maby they dont want to be at peace with themselves... because then they would be hippocritical biggots instead of plain old biggots heheheh... <sorry Im really in a mood right now.>
I'm allready a monster,/me smiles sweetly
Nothing so cute as me can be anything but pure evil in a lovely package hehehe LoL

After looking at that site, I now see the parody site "Landover Baptist Church" is right on the mark...

Quote from: Karen on August 20, 2007, 09:20:33 PMBingo. You should see their "special series" on "homosexuality." I especially love their image of the evil-looking gay man who's eyeballing the little boy. Their disinformation is absolutely legendary.
