Title: My Hip Hurts.
Post by: Wynternight on December 30, 2014, 11:38:58 AM
Second dose of injectable E and me bum hurts. That stuff is thick! I'll be happy when it disperses out of the muscle tissue and isn't so tender.

Pro-tip: apply an ice pack for a few moments before shooting: you won't feel a thing.

I never had any pain when I was injected by a nurse in the rear ???

I do my own in my outer thigh now and I also never have any pain except for a very mild ache that goes away in a few hours... Ive had 2ml injected with no pain...

Make sure its going in the right spot and your not allergic to the oil ;)

No allergies and I'm a nurse so I've given tens of thousands of IM injections. I think it's because the stuff is as thick as cold syrup. I didn't notice the soreness until I shifted my weight to my left then it became kind of tender.

I'm starting to think my mom is terrible at giving shots.

She's a nurse and I thought she was doing a good job, but I usually have some pain.

Sometimes hurts at the moment of injection, sometimes it doesn't but goes away quite quickly. Soreness may occur a day later and persist for a few days but these days, it's rare. Nurses do my injections, always in the butt, alternating between left and right. Worth the pain though! :)
