I've recently come out to my family as a MtF trans*person. I've known since it I was 4. I will now live my life that makes me happy, their discomfort won't be my discomfort. So I've come online to look for other support communities!

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.
Your happiness is an excellent place to work out of. The only person you can ever change in this world is ..... Yourself. So it's useless trying to change someone else's ideas, only they can change that.
Keep up the great attitude and work you're doing.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
