Is it possible to develop breasts and other feminine body characteristics without HRT?
If so, what can be used and how effective is it?

Breast development? Not really.
Other stuff? Diet and exercise may help.
HRT gives you female puberty. If there was another way, you probably would have heard of it.

NO
I tried, many, many years ago natural herbs, remedies and other voodoo concoctions, but non worked!
HRT since early 2000's
Why do you ask? Is it the effect on male organs and libido?
L Katy ?

Developing breasts without HRT, yes but they also use drugs with side effects.
Other things you could do is exercise, have laser/electrolysis, longet hair, pair of small jewel earrings, voice training, tucking, and wearing appropriate clothing.
However, if you were planning SRS, if you can find somebody that will take you with having had no HRT; you will need it afterwards. As your body will not produce enough on its own to be healthy.

I'm doing well on herbals, decent breast growth, more padding on the rear, and smoother skin. I don't do doctors and needles, so it's the best choice for me. No need for anyone to post a medical warning, I know the risks.

I can't say due to the site rules. I won't use the PM system here to discuss it either, so please don't ask. I'm always available through email or Facebook, though.

I was able to achieve tiny little booblets through self hypnosis. Send me a PM and I'll tell you how. But I think there's a limit to how effective that can be.

This seems to be a trendy topic this week. :P
You can look up Sapien Med on youtube for feminizing tones / beats. Some say it works some say its only placebo.
Breast massage, I hear is good.

I think a better question to the OP would be why do you want to do non-HRT transition?
There's a lot to understand here. Say someone gets an orchi to stop testosterone effects but then takes no sex hormones at all, either testosterone or estrogen. That's bad. You'll get osteoporosis (brittle bones) as the sex hormones help keep bones healthy.
But if you're trying to transition and your body is still pumped full of testosterone, you're going to age like a male, continue looking male, etc. Complexion will be male (bigger pores, heavier skin, facial hair), etc.
So it's a complicated question. Stopping all sex hormones is not healthy. You need one or the other.

When you cry your E increases. But I guess one is to die from dehydration long before growing breasts...

Your question is complicated, the OP's wasn't. They want to know methods besides HRT to feminize. They are looking for alternate sources of estrogen. No mention was made of living in a body without hormones......until you posted. Are you sure you understand what they were asking?
