I recently had metaoidplasty with urethra extension and I have been able to pee on my own ever since they took out my catheter, but today I first had trouble peeing , it would only come a little and like drops only, and now in the evening I hadn't been able to pee at all, I can feel it inside my body like the feeling you get just as the pee is coming out but nothing comes out, and Ive tried every possible angle, like sitting down, standing up, crouching the toilet etc. And I really need to go so I don't know what to do. I had surgery the 9th of dec.
I have been able to pee up until know so I think it's wierd that this has happened to me now, I should have healed better not worse, Should I go to the emergency room? wait it out? I have no clue....I really don't want to wear a catheter again that really hurt and was annoying, and im suppose to get back to work on monday :(

Get to emerge! I just found out that meta surgery especially can have issues with the circular scar from the urethra lengthening closing (it's small enough to behave like a fresh earring puncyture, you gotta keep something in there or dilate it regularly or it starts to CLOSE). Hope you get it fixed ASAFP (As Soon As FREAKING Possible)

I went to the emergency room, I only had 12 ml of fluid in my bladder when I got in the nurse told me . She checked me with a ultrasound machine, so she gave me about 2 liters of apple juice and said its prob a bladder infection. So I needed to drink and give them a urine sample, I drank and managed to give them some and it came back fine :S no bacteria and so on. So I went home and now I've been peeing fine :S my body is a mystery

I had the same problem after surgery and ended up having to have emergency surgery because scar tissues completely sealed my urethra opening. Sucked!!
