Title: Whew!
Post by: Mustang Kaelin on January 27, 2015, 01:23:44 AM
I just got back from looking at clothes at the local walmart, and at first it felt awkward just walking around the ladies department, but I did it! I bought my first article of female clothing :) I got this really pretty red dress, just the bottom part, but I think the actual term is maxi skirt. I just guessed at my size but I remembered a formula I saw, subtracting either 20 or 21 from my waist size in men's pants, and I bought it, came home and tried it on, and it fits like a glove! Oh, and it's super super comfortable too! Mission accomplished! Now time to buy more clothes :D

Hugs :)

I've been around this stuff for a very long time and I've never heard about subtracting 20 or 21 from your men's pants waist size. But sure enough I'm a 29-30 in men's pants and wear a size in 10 in women's jeans so I guess it works. There's always something new to learn.

It seems like it is always just at first.  It gets a lot more comfortable after that.  Good for you!  Enjoy your new dress!

I reached out to the owner of a quiet 2nd hand/ vintage shop in my town via e-mail. I told her I was a closeted crossdresser looking for private shopping. She let's me come after hours shopping. I usually bring some wine. It's fun. Hopefully can do it again soon.

She has set me up with wonderful outfits.

I need more time to dress.

Big difference between a business owner who wants a repeat customer and a Jumbomart part time employee who just wants to go home. Smart move talking to her!

I have bought lots of clothes for the women in my life. Nothing beat buying my first dress though! :-)
