Title: A lil' bit of joy

I wanted to share a lil' bit of joy happening in my life.
I just received my binder yesterday (first one) and I must say it's totally YEAAAAHHHH !!! Hurraaaaaa ! yep yep yep yep !!! Weeeeeeee !!! :D to wear it and to see myself flat chested in the mirror.
Strangely I feel a lot more confident when I were it.
It'll be difficult not to wear it all the time... (I know, it's not a good idea and I don't but... the urge is strong !)
Also, it's very concrete and I was afraid never to be able, or never dare, to begin doing concrete things. So it makes me very happy to discover that I can :D

Big hug! Thanks for sharing the joy! No "I'm stuck in my binder" story though? Oh well, maybe next time!

Hahaha ! No, I was too afraid to be stuck in it to take the risk (+ I have a brand new industrial piercing and I didn't want to hurt myself) !! I found a video tuto and all went right ;)

I have to admit that I am deeply impressed about people's ability to wear binders on a daily basis - I had to bind recently and it was for about 40 mins and it was already becoming uncomfortable and difficult to breath... and You guys just go for hours/days/years... Amazing!

Perhaps the binder was too tight, normally you can breathe with it. I mean, they are made to ;) I must say I feel very comfortable with mine (perhaps too much and I think a tighter one would be more efficient but still, the goal is to bind AND breathe normally !)
Excuse my curiosity but why did you have to bind ?
(by the way, I'm not a guy ;) )

I used elastic bandages, cause I did not have anything else - there was a chest x-ray which I had to undergo and I needed to be flat :D.
As for "guys" - it was tricky one indeed (and I did not know should I use that or no) - but then - people often use it when referring to a bunch of persons (irrespective of gender), so I hope it was not offending :). If it was - then You have my sincere apologies :).

haha, that X-ray story is pretty ironic ! ;) Elastic bandages must be really uncomfortable. (Never tried)
Don't worry, no offense :)

Congrats on finding some comfort with a binder. I wish I'd discovered them decades ago when it was embarrassing doing gymnastics with my bouncy boobs. I'm discovering new joy in flipping around. I'm still anxiously awaiting top surgery because the binder doesn't allow enough breathing for intense aerobic activity.

I'm lucky enough to hate doing sport !
And I also wish I'd discovered them like years ago when my breast began to appear... But, in French we say "avec des si, on mettrait Paris en bouteille" which coul be translated as "with if's you could put Paris in a bottle" so I will not regret the past !
Top surgery is for me as tempting as scary. Perhaps because I've never had to go to the hospital in my entire life, I'm scared about pain and so on. Anyway, good luck for having your top surgery ;)
