Susan's Place Transgender Resources

I'm pretty new to the site, and new to dysphoria and gender issues as a whole. In fact it's only something I truly picked up on maybe a week or two ago. Anyway, my name's Gerby -- or, my real name's Davis. I tend to go by Gerby over these interwebs here, though. I'm twelve, I'm currently still male and haven't decided on anything yet (Unfortunately, haha). I guess this'll be a bit of a... backstory, or... story post because I don't know what else to put here.

Anyway, I guess it all started about a few weeks ago, when I had a dream I was reborn as a female. It was kind of weird, but in a way it was one of the best dreams I've ever had. In the dream, I saw myself grow up as a female... And for some reason it gave me a really, really warm... happy feeling when I woke up. However other than that, I didn't do much about it. However when I started getting curious and reading up on trans*/MtF transitions and procedures in general, I started to feel some pretty distinct... dysphoria, was it called? It started progressing when I met a pre-transition MtF girl over a gaming platform called Steam, which I'm sure some of you know about. Either way, I got to know them and started to really, really like them. And am still talking to them today. I'd always wished I was female, but it was never something I even considered doing anything about. It was more of a... dream, I guess. Something I thought I'd never accomplish. Anyway, after talking to the person I'd met for a while, I decided it was really something I'd want to consider/look into.

Though, I kind of put it in my back pocket and decided to forget about it for a little bit. After all, I had quite a few problems to attend to at the moment. But, as I started to feel more and more displeased with my gender, I thought I'd do some research. And here I am, having stumbled upon your site. So far it's been nothing but helpful, and most likely will continue to be. I'm sure that I'll establish a bit of a presence in the Youth board. I haven't come out yet, except for having told one of my really, really good female friends that I wished I was a girl and was kind of jealous of her. Though, I told her I wouldn't do anything about it, and wasn't considering it. (Which was kind of a lie, admittedly. >.<). I have, however, come out as bi to most of my friends, but not my parents yet. And nothing's really changed, sooooo... Yeah.

I'm pretty much most interested in gaming, and anime. I'm from Canada, Ontario. And I guess I really like cute things in general. ^_^
