Okay, so what can I expect of my first visit with an endocrinologist? I am 18, no pre-existing conditions or known medical abnormalities, and I am insured. However, since I do not believe our deductible has been met for 2015, I will be paying out of pocket. About how much will an initial visit cost me??

Depends on where you're going. The amount billed for my first visit was a couple hundred but it was billed to insurance.

I do not yet know the cost of the visit itself, but all of my labs totaled $478. Honestly, it was more than worth the cost to finally start hormones.
