Title: Has anyone had success with packerlocker?

I ordered from packer locker a couple month ago. When I asked them about shipping times they said the stp is in stock but they are waiting on the harness and will ship the whole order together. I finally got my order today but the harness isn't even in it, just the stp that was already in stock. since I placed the order, I've seen a few negative reviews of the site. Does anyone have a positive experience with them?

They seem pretty unprofessional and possibly disorganized. I placed an order of 5 or 6 items. I received an email with shipment tracking info within a few days. That tracking info was never scanned by the post office and the package never arrived. Packerlocker and I exchanged several emails over the next few weeks. They said they didn't know what happened to the original package and they were out of stock now on some items I ordered. I told them that the only item I really, specifically wanted was the Model D Sport STP. The other 4 or 5 items were just extras I'd added to the order. In the end, I received a replacement package with zero of the items I had ordered. They sent me an original Model D STP, along with some other items similar to what I'd ordered. If they'd told me they wouldn't be sending the Model D Sport STP, I would have just asked for a refund of the entire order. And if they'd been out of stock on the Sport when I was shopping, I wouldn't even have placed the order.

I ordered something but they took a very long time. DId not contact me, and I agree re: unprofessional. I posted about how late they were and funny thing, I got my packer about a week later.

Wow. Thanks guys. They replied to my email saying that they decided not to carry that harness anymore and I can have store credit. There isn't anything else there I want. I wish I hadn't ordered through them.

I would tell them you want your money back. I think that's quite unprofessional. You don't give "store credit" for an out of stock item. I hate to say this, but I think young men wanting money for top surgery should sell t-shirts or have concerts or something and not try having a business. (I mean 99% of them.) Running a business is seriously hard and requires maturity and lots of skills, which not everyone has. I believe these young men need a mentor to help them.

I ordered when the store just opened, and received my item in a timely manner and they updated me through emails and texts about my order.
I have a good experience with my order, but maybe their quality of service has gone down since then?

The verbiage on their site was unclear and I ended up signing up for a monthly renewed subscription instead of just ordering a single mystery box. It took several e-mails back and forth to clarify this with them and get my subscription canceled. They refused to outright cancel and refund an order that had been processed but not shipped.
From the time I placed an order it took 2-3 weeks for a shipping slip to be generated and roughly 4 more weeks for the package to actually arrive at my house. Shipping information was never updated, so I never knew if anything was really en route. I've had a lot of issues with packages going missing in my neighborhood, so that's kind of important for me.
All in all, I would say it's probably someone's first attempt at running a business. They are probably young and in over their heads, trying to juggle this with whatever else they have going on. It's no excuse for the poor communication and business practices though. I don't intend to order anything else from them.

I think they are honest, so that if they can easily ship the order on time, they will. If they run into problems, like being out of stock, I take it that maybe they are too immature or inexperienced to figure it all out. Or perhaps they get overwhelmed from a lot of sales.

I think packer locker is great, sometimes I get emails back so fast it's like I'm texting a friend. I like the fact that he gives me his opinions on things when asked and is actually very very accommodating. They had a sale where you got store money back, I didn't have enough for adhesive, so I asked him instead of sending me a $40 card for my EC prosthetic if he could just send the adhesive and a $20 card, and he obliged. I asked him if I could make more than the down payment amount and he said if I sent him a picture of my cart and tell him the amount I wanted to pay he would handle the rest, he even helped me figure out how to do so as I'm not the most technologically inclined, I ended up not doing so and he was very polite. At the end, we've sent over 95 emails back and forth and it's been a great experience :)

I've had bad experiences with them. I posted some on my blog. They are unreliable and unprofessional, I recommend ordering the products you want directly from the company that makes them. Packer locker is just a 3rd party distributor. Ordering from the source reduces chances for unnecessary compilation

I ordered an ec pack and play from packer locker and it took almost two months for me to get it. When it finally arrived it was terrible. Single density, multiple cuts and tears, and it looked dirty altogether. It was like they sent me a prototype that someone had received. I complained and payed to send it back to them as they assured me they would cover the cost. They did not cover the cost however I recieved store credit. I used the store credit to purchase an emisil prosthetic from them. I ordered it march 24th and still have not received it. I asked them if it was processed and they said it was in the works. After still not hearing anything I e mailed emisil directly and they told me they had no orders from them since January. I'm very displeased with being ripped off of almost 400 dollars. It seems to me they are scammers just like a lot of businesses. They were more than happy to help until I forked over a lot of money and now they just ignore me, no refund, no explanation no nothing.

Wow, that is horrible. I am so sorry that happened to you. Can you contact the Better Business Bureau? I don't even know what kind of steps one takes for online companies. I really wouldn't let this one go.
I think it is good you are "making some noise" about here it on Susan's. I can't remember the name of the company, but they really stepped up their game after people started complaining on here.
I would write them and tell them you talked to Emisil and what you found out.
Did you ask Emisil to contact them? I would do that.

In re: Captain Cash and Bimmer-
As far as recourse, you are pretty much stuck just writing negative reviews in places where other people might see them. You could complain to whoever is hosting their website, their suppliers, etc. But there really isn't an entity in my knowledge that could impose any kind of sanctions.
Your best bet, if you are fed up with the service and waiting for them to get themselves together, would be to email them about canceling your order and demanding full refunds for everything. Then, go to your credit card company or Paypal (whatever you paid with) and have the charges reversed. Write up a nice email letting them know the situation and how you've reached out to the site operator with no response, and the suppliers who haven't had any orders placed. This should be more than enough to have them reverse both of your previous charges. You are probably out for whatever it cost to ship back to them though.

At first you claim to have nought an EC product and then you said you emailed. Emisil... Those are two different companies so I'm unsure which product you ordered or who you contacted..
On another note though, packer locker sucks. Super unreliable and I will always order direct from the company that makes the product

He said he had originally bought an EC pack and play, but when it came it was messed up, and he sent it back and got store credit, which he then put towards an Emisil prosthetic.

Their people skills may be good but their business skills are lacking. At this point it's just better to order direct from the companies that make the products and eliminate the middleman.

For my FTM products, (except for tranzwear when I wanted the masho, plus tubing), I have never go to a middleman. I always go directly to the company. The company of the product always sells it at a lower cost, and the shipping is definitely always less.
It makes sense for the middleman to mark up a product. That is how they make their money. You are paying the extra for the ease of finding a number of products all in one place. I may go to a site to find out "what is out there", but then I just google the company to order.

I've weighed the pros and the cons and for me the things I'll get for free cause of the sale and the perk of discounted items it's actually better for me to order for them. I also think that people usually blame the middle man for a companies faults, this is definitely not always the case, but it happens a lot. Not to mention he's been OVERLY helpful. They're also coming out with their own products :) the first one will be a simple soft pack with 3D balls that can be adhered to the body. I'll post pictures if ya'll are interested

Damn, that's awful :( it would take 8-10 weeks to receiver EC from them and I don't want to wait that long but with the math it would cost the same from EC and packer locker, and with packer locker I would get a 20% discount on my next item. I really wanted to order though them but I don't know now :(

Ec stole money?? i highly doubt that. I emailed Ec to see what was going on and they told me Locker was taking Ec orders from people and not paying them to make or ship it, or something to that effect. My relationship as a customer of Ec has been nothing but positive, where the locker wont even respond to peopkes emails or even ship their products for that matter. Im staying far away from them and ordering straight from the company. The guy who runs packer locker seems shady to me and very unprofessional. I almost ordered a freetom from them but i feel alot safer putting my money directly into the manufacturer!

I did contact the bbb and they did all they could but unfortunately packer locker did not respond to them either. I just want to spread the word about them so no one else gets screwed out of 400 dollars like I did. They even sent me new product information in e mails which I'm sure is automated but still, I don't appreciate their lack of service, its quite infuriating.

Yah, I finally got a response about a refund. He offered store credit, and I ordered 4 batman washrags and a tshirt. Still waiting on the tshirt. It's been months. So essentially each of these wash rags cost me like 40 bucks. PackerLocker is a scam.

Hi everyone,
I had troubles with locker too. I've ordered my prosthetic from them 8 months ago and still not have it. First, they answered me quickly, telling me that it will take longer because the manufacturer is not easy to work with. etc, etc, for 6 months. I moved from France and I'm in Canada now. I've asked before I left if the package will arrive before, they kept telling me yes. Since I'm in Canada, 3 months now, they don't answer anymore. I've sent so many emails, I've tried to contact them via the tumblr, the phone number, anything, but no answer. I've spent 124$ for this order and I've never seen it.
I'm so angy and I don't know what to do! They keep posting on their tumblr, it's frustrating! Is there anything we could do?

I did see a post from them on tumblr. I'd consider reblogging and adding a comment to their post so that others can see it. It puts pressure on them to correct the issue and shows others what absolute trash they are.

I was checking several sites to find the cheapest total price of the same packer and Packer-locker was the lowest. But after reading your posts, it's no wonder why they sell it like that. I guess I won't be ordering from them.

I had something ordered for me by a donation group after being selected as their recipient for September. I'm still waiting on it to arrive, and it's now almost the end of November. This is basically what's happened over the past three months:
I got contacted by the group, huzzah! Sent them my necessary details, etc. They replied confirming that everything was received, and that the order was placed. Okay great!
A number of weeks passed, so I emailed the group and asked if they knew what was up. They mentioned that Packer Locker was moving to Las Vegas. Great. Fine. So, I sent a message to Packer Locker asking what was going on with my order. They said it was in their "to-do" pile, and that it should be shipped out soon. All well and good... Right?
More time passed, and I emailed the group again. I was already concerned at this point about what was going on. They emailed Packer Locker for me and asked them what was up. The response they got was that Packer Locker wound up missing a shipment of the packer that was supposed to be in my kit, and that it would be shipped out as soon as the shipment they needed was in. Okay, fine.
I emailed the group again this month asking if they knew what was going on. They were confused too. So, they emailed Packer Locker AGAIN. They assured the group that my order would be mailed out this past Monday. Figuring that it wouldn't take long to make it from Vegas to where I live, I eagerly awaited my shipment... Nope. Nothing. So, I sent them a Tumblr message earlier. This was what I sent:
Good morning. :) I had a question about an order. I've tried searching for it under two different emails as well as two different order numbers that I was provided. My order does not come up using the Track Your Order thing on the website, and I'm growing concerned. The product in question was ordered over three months ago for me by a wonderful blog here on Tumblr that helps our trans folk like myself. If y'all would please let me know what's up with my shipment, and provide a tracking number (if possible) I would be extremely grateful. The order numbers that I have been provided are: [redacted] and [redacted]. The email addresses I have been provided for this order are: [redacted] and [redacted]. I would appreciate a prompt reply. Thank you for offering these products to the transgender community.
Followed by this response:
Hi there- The order is not in the new system as it was already set aside for processing. We recently discussed with [the blog] about the issues we had with the order during migration to the new platform. This past weekend we had an event to attend but we expect it to ship within the next few business days.
I've been waiting since SEPTEMBER. My partner is pretty pissed about this whole ordeal too. After I finally get this stuff in the mail, I'm going to email the group about it and let them know it finally got here, as well as what managed to arrive. I don't know what I'm gonna do if it's not the stuff I asked for in the first place, except just be grateful that it got here at all. All I know for certain is that I will NOT be purchasing from them directly EVER. Period. NOPE.

My friend from school recommended packer locker to me when i was in need of a packer. I decided to look them up and looked over their products and thought, "Hey they look decent and they're cheap." cool, whatever. So i ordered a packer and harness a couple days before Christmas. I don't buy many things online, plus i had it shipped to my friends because it was bought before i came out to my mom. Weeks go by, nothing's coming in. I just thought since it's the holidays, they're probably not working so I waited till around January 3rd. This is when I got worried (it didn't go through, shipping people lost the package, etc.) so I email them, asking for an update. They responded the next morning saying they were backed up due to the holidays and should be getting orders done soon. Also they let me know I made a mistake with which harness I got so I bought another one early February.I thought okay cool. I also asked my friend if it took this long for him and he said he didn't have a problem and it took a week and a half to get to his house. But here I am 2 months later and it still hasn't arrived. This upsets me greatly considering I spent quite a bit of money for things i personally feel necessary, and it takes this long. Along with the tracking is never updated, it doesn't even show the date i ordered. Bummed :(.
