Hi all!
I am 27 years old and originally from Russia. I have been post op since age 20. I am still struggling with bad depression and gender dysphoria. I signed up with a new Doctor a year ago and he seemed great for a while. Here recently I can tell he is not open minded about my gender idenity disorder that he diagnosed me with. He started me on an anti androgen and the side effects were terrible.mood swings. Hating myself. I threw the rest in the trash and slowly starting to feel better. I questoned the Doctor why would I need an anti-androgen being post op. He said to block the testosterone from the adrenal glands. To my understanding there has to be a slight mix of male and female hormones call hormone balance. For a while I was only running on pure estrogen. I was always tired. sleeping a lot.
I am currently living part time as a female which is my prefered gender. I don't know when I will ever go full time. This site is really great and there are some beautiful T women here.

Welcome!
Two months after my surgery, did some blood work and my estrogen level was at 700.
She reduced my dosage from 5mg to 3mg a day going forward.
My endo took me off spirolactone and progesterone for good.
